The food is always good here. The Tempura was a bit heavy on this trip, but is usually light and fantastic. I've come to this... H.T. since I was a kid going to camp on black lake. I've been to most of the H.T.s and this one is fairly consistently good. Read more

Recently was here twice in two weeks to test my theory but the portions are not only smaller now, but they cost more. I love... their Chicken Yaki Udon but the last trip, it was really bland. Plus they presented it to me (I always get it to go) in asmaller container. but told me that it was the same amount of food. How do you fit the same amount of food into a much smallercontainer I asked, with no answer given. Once again, my smaller portion wasn't so great. Bland again. I won't be coming backhere. Way too expensive for what you get now. I can expect smaller portions as most places have been doing that lately but theprice has remained the same, not gotten more expensive for less food. I can go somewhere else. Read more

Just call DO NOT just show up. They will answer every call they get and just ignore you till after they take everyone else?s... order over the phone. This is the second time they?ve taken repeated calls in the last week while I was in the store with cashwanting to place an order. First time I thought everyone get backed up a little. Now it?s like a call center in there. Food isokay for the most part but nothing really great. Poor customer service to the people in the restaurant but I?d say probablypretty good if you call in. I have been eating at Happy teriyaki for over 20 years... I came in on a Friday August 12th 2022 at 9:37 p.m.... The girl... working had all the open signs turned off. I asked her if she was still open she said that I could not dine in but I could orderto go, she said this very frustrated. I said: I'm sorry if you want I can go somewhere else. She then rudely said: I'll takeyour order after I check on this other guys food. Long story short she was rude, unfriendly and made me feel unwelcome andunfortunately this restaurant has lost my business forever. So the moral of the story? Decent overpriced food with rude badservice. MESSAGE TO THE GIRL WORKING: I WORKED IN RESTAURANTS FOR 15 YEARS YOU NEVER GET OFF AT YOUR SCHEDULED TIME IF YOU THINKYOU GET OFF AT YOUR SCHEDULE TIME YOU SHOULD NOT WORK IN THE RESTAURANT BUSINESS!!! CUSTOMERS DO NOT CARE THAT YOU WANT TO GOHOME AND WATCH NETFLIX OR GO OUT TO THE BAR OR GO OUT WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND OR WHATEVER YOUR THERE TO SERVE PEOPLE THAT'S WHY ITIS CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! Probably the worst teriyaki my family has ever had. My pork fried rice was extremely over cooked and the bottom of the container... had puddles of grease and oil, Very unappetizing. My husband's chicken katsu was so over cooked the chicken was almost nonexistent. My egg rolls and gyoza however were undercooked and tasted as if the insides were well past their expiration date. For$50 dollars and having to make a completely different dinner after not being able to eat the one we paid for, I'm very unhappy. Will not return. Read more

I had lunch here a few days ago. I decided to try their ribs and was shocked when I got the bill, but I will say they were tasty... and very flavorful. For the price I would have expected a larger plate, but it was a good meal. I thought the service was good, came to my table 3x to fill my water glass.. may try them again. Read more
