We always go to rides n rods but never early enough for the food!! Tried the lil piglet and fried pickles. The pork and bun was... so soft ! And the frickles we're also good! we tried 3 of the 4 sauces and the sweet with the Carolina was amazing mix on thesandwich. I'll definitely be back again soon. Read more
1st time here. From NC originally and have eaten BBQ from every reputable BBQ State. This place had an amazing Pulled Pork... Sandwich. The sides were flavorful and not bland like some places. The sauce wasn?t overpowering and they put the right amounton. Will absolutely be back!! Read more
Food is ok. But the whole place screams of laziness. You come to a counter to order, you come back to the counter to get your... food. You tip before you have your food or experience "the service". I ordered the pulled pork sandwich special. It was $12+tipfor a fast food burger sized $7 sandwich and $4 1/2 cup of slaw. It wasn't amazing but wasn't bad. I liked the lemon dill twiston the slaw. You're given a choice of sauce for the sandwich, I got a McDonald's level small squirt on top of the meat. Food isserved with a plastic pack of cutlery, and the only beverage options are suger filled plastic bottled sodas with one sugar freetea option. It's a fast food single use hell scape. My wife and I went and had the meattray with pulled pork, mac and cheese, beans, and their jalapeño cornbread. The portions... they give you are the perfect amount. I had the Smokey Mac and cheese with pulled pork and the carolina gold sauce. The CarolinaGold gave it a spicy/tangy flavor that really rounded out it out. The pork was perfectly cooked and also very good. My wifesfavorite part was the cornbread! She even got an extra one for me since she knew she wouldn't share hers! Read more
