I always come for the banana pudding. It?s top shelf. The bread always smells like my grandmother?s home.
I had lunch there today. I had the fried catfish, sweet potato casserole and cole slaw. Everything was very good. The catfish... was just right, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The sweet potato casserole is one of my favorite things on themenu. Jessica was my server today and the service was great. I was looking for a place to have lunch while I was out and I had totally forgotten about The Delta Cafe until I was just about... to pull into another place to have lunch when I seen the sign and that was that, not a hard choice so I went in and was greetedand seated by a nice friendly waitresses,she took my drink order went and got my drink and ask if I was ready to order, I was soI gave her my order SHE didn't write it down and I thought I hope she got it right to my surprise SHE got it right I wasimpressed that she remembered everything I ordered ( after asking her several questions about some items on the menu ) I orderthe pork chops with broccoli ???? mashed potatoes ???? with gravy and a side salad ????, the food was good and the service wasgood I will go back next time I'm in the area. So if you are looking for a nice quiet place give it a try.
