Well darn!! We'd heard such great things. But, I guess we caught you on an off day. All salads were a disappointment. One had... the dressing missing and all were missing the croutons. The dinner salad had chunks of lettuce that were bitter tasting. Thelasagna was buried under too much sauce. On the upside, bruschetta was fantastic as was the sausage and chicken parmesan. I started going to Mondo's over 304 years ago. I'm so glad they are back. Their food is really good. Nice sized portions,... awesome drinks from the bar, very nice selection of entrees to choose from. Highly recommend it. The seating is really tight andcrowded tho. Mondo's was recommended by a local I met in the Waffle House in Owasso. He did NOT prep me for the awesomeness that this place... is. He said it was good Italian, but completely under sold it. The portions are generous and full of flavor. Everything exudesa homemade taste with an upscale look and feel. The staff is very attentive. OMG, this place is Fabulous! We didn't have a reservation (recommend having one) and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Our... server treated us like royalty and chose a wine that was not on the menu. We asked about his favorite dishes and his choices didnot disappoint (homemade ravioli and salmon piccata) At the end of our meal, we asked for his two favorite desserts and he choseLemon ??and chocolate ???? My wife and I heard of this place from a friend and thought that we?d give it a try. We are so glad that we did! Very authentic,... rich flavor and delicious! The setting of the restaurant was really neat although tables were pretty close together. The waiterwas amazing and attentive and food portions were large. I had the meatball sub and Blackened Chicken Alfredo. The lunch anddinner menu offered a variety of items. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone seeking some really amazing Italian food.I will definitely go back. Read more
Fantastic food very busy place. Sat at the bar and i could tell it was overwhelmed. The service is what dropped it down a star... because i understand being swamped but it felt very hurry up eat and get out. The restaurant was nice and seemed cleanconsidering the traffic. The bar was not cleaned when i sat down but it eventually got wiped down. I will return to try someother food because the pizza coming out of that amazing oven looked good.
