The experience there was good the people were super nice . Although my Spanish was poor considering I have not spoken the... language in over 20 years.. They gladly still helped me. Years ago visiting out of state I tried alcapurrias for the firsttime. I remember OMG they are being Yummy!! . I found this place Layers by accident on my way home.I got really excited.Iwanted to try more Puerto Rican dishes considering seeing the culinary recipes of the cruisine very interesting. It sparked mycuriosity for many years. This place delivered and no disappointments. The Food was amazing especially the alcapurrias andempanadas!! ???? Yummy. The loaded bbq fries were delicious too. I look forward to revisiting and trying more stuff. Thestuffed plantain sounds promising ! Read more

Elmma, if I pronounced it right, is the cutest and sweetest of all the help I have received in Tulsa, maybe of Oklahoma so far. ... The business is right around the corner to my residence making it my go to for unique BBQ sandwiches. I was expecting Mexicanfood, but learned it was not, but found it was my favorite, tender BBQ meats. If anyone is nearby, you must stop by for thetripletas. More then enough food for two.. Great service, great food. Read more

Flavorful and authentic Puerto Rican food. As real as it gets. You get so much food for your buck and the prices are already... good. Wait time can be long but it's worth it. You won't find PR food like nearby. Read more

Best food in town! The mofongo bowl stuffed with steak was my favorite... Savory, tender steak, perfect amount of garlic... The... tripleta (triple stack sandwich) was another win... Very authentic Puerto Rican street food flavor...alcapurias (beef and greenbanana fritters) were also amazing... Bring an appetite cause the portions are big!!! Read more

I have been driving by this place for weeks now and finally stopped by today on my way home. I was not disappointed! The... original triple stack was fantastic and it came with a dessert that was akin to chocolate flan. The flavor blends on the disheswere just about perfect and I can't wait to go back and try some new dishes! Read more
