Reviews for Gigi's Chinese Cuisine and Sushi Bar in Tulsa, OK
This restaurant was recommended by a couple of friends. Today was our first time dinning here. We ordered BBQ Pork, Beef flat... noodles, and Taiwan Five Flavored Duck (I forgot to take the picture of the duck dish). Each dish is perfect and very flavorful.I highly recommend beef flat noodles and BBQ pork. If you like authentic Chinese food, this is the place to go and definitely, order from their Chinese menu. Tony and Gigi are a really nice couple. Read more
Have been looking for a different kind of asian restaurant in Tulsa and thought to visit this place as someone suggested. It is... a decent dine-in place with good ambience and they have a nice menu. Since its the first time, felt to have something spicy andordered the Singapore spicy chicken which comes with fried rice. The food was ok(nothing to boast as a variety). It was like anyspicy chicken fried rice you get at other asian restaurants. Also 75% of the dish is onions and green bell peppers. Seems theyhave more authentic chinese dishes so will look out for that next time I visit there. Price was ok(neither expensive nor cheap)Overall I would give 3*. Read more
Absolute best Chinese restaurant in Tulsa! They normally only have one person waiting tables, but I can still make it back in... time during my hour lunch. The several times I have gone the server has been very very nice as well! The crab rangoons areamazing! There are actually chunks of crab that you can taste instead of the usual finely chopped crab you get at otherrestaurants. Overall, this is one of my favorite restaurants here in Tulsa. Read more
Food was fresh and had amazing flavor! A friend of mine referred me to this place and I?d say it?s a winner. The beef was tender... and broth was well seasoned and the noodles were cooked perfect. Not too hard or soft. The sushi I ordered was basic sushi soI?m not going to judge it. I?ll try something a little more exotic and special. Good sized portions and great prices. I highlyrecommend. Tried this place on a whim as I have recently moved to a job down south and now have so many new restaurants to try. Very... pleased with my experience here with my dish (beef in hot chili) being exceptionally authentic as was the cup of hot and soursoup I got. Will definitely be trying this place again. Read more
In terms of a Chinese taste. It tastes good. The serving speed is very fast. The communication was very pleasant. Full score... for the environment. The dish is 9.5 points. All atmosphere is comfortable. It just lacks some background music to reducenoise. Generally speaking, it can be regarded as a good restaurant in many Chinese restaurants. Recommended Read more
Food and service were great! Definitely recommend the ramen! Wish they had hot sake and maybe a happy hour/discount sushi deal... or something because some of the rolls get a bit pricey. We will definitely be back though and hope everyone keeps realize howgreat Gigi?s is! Read more
We arrived around 5:30 pm on a Saturday evening and there were only two other couples besides ourselves. Our server was very... nice, helpful, and checked on us often throughout our dining experience. As for the food, my wife ordered Mongolian beef withsteamed rice while I went with the curry beef tendon minus the rice. Both dishes arrived at the same time, hot, and with freshquality ingredients. As always, I have to sample my wife's dish to see if I regret not ordering what she got since it happensvery often that her meal looks and tastes better than mine. The beef was tender, veggies were fresh, and flavor was good.Although the flavor was good, it didn't shine as much as another local place that we frequent. Now, onto my curry beef tendon.I didn't realize it was going to be a soup, but I like trying new dishes, so I was still all for it. Honestly, it gave me potroast vibes with an Asian flare. The beef was very tender, melt in your mouth, and took on the flavor of the soup. It came withth8n sliced carrots, slivers of onion, and small potatoes halved . The broth had a good subtle curry undertone with a soup likeconsistency rather than being thicker like a Thai or Indian curry. Between the freshness and great service, my wife and Iconcluded we would return to try other menu items. If I were to have a complaint, which isn't really a complaint, would betheir old menu on Google Maps, had pictures of the menu items so you can visually see what you're ordering, unlike the new menuit text only with no description.
