Nice simple Good Coney Dogs
We love coney island but from the moment we walked in the customer service at this location was very bad. We stood there for 3-4... minutes as 2 employees had several conversations without even saying hello. I waited to see how long it would go on and itcontinued. Another staff member walked out and did not speak either. Finally, out of frustration I asked if I could place anorder. The guy just looked at me and the 2nd lady to appear on the scene said, yes in a minute she is just getting everythingready. I would think saying hello and acknowledging a customer would be customer service 101. When they did take our order thegirl seemed to be annoyed that I expected better service. Imagine deciding to open a restaurant. You say "I want to sell hotdogs as cheap as earthly possible." So you get the worst... ingredients, cheapest materials, etc, and open in a strip mall. Such is the result of Coney Island. Hanging on by tradition,there is no tradition of quality, nutrition, or taste here. Pretttttty gross. Friendly staff though. Read more
This place is amazing!!!!!! Not only is the food awesome, the manager Will Smith you rock sir.!!!! This place was my late... father's favorite place to grab a quick bite to eat. Will, made it a great night for my family when we all met there tonight toremember my father, and watch sister get engaged. In the weekly scramble was a message to my sister from her now Fiance. Great service, gave me a discount for being my first time at one. Limited menu, chili is pretty blah as well as the mini hot... dogs, guess hot sauce can spice up and being non spicey makes it appeal to those with soft stomachs. Inexpensive lunch I guess,seemed busy, so locals must like it. Read more
Hot dogs are good but the customer service is lacking. Nothing like what is used to be.
