Wow! I saw their pop up shop in Covington and HAD to stop for some Jambalaya. Jambalaya has always been an important meal in my... family so I had to give it a try and my oh my was it worth it! The spice was great but not overwhelming and the chicken,sausage, and shrimp were perfect. But the most crucial aspect of all jambalaya is the juice to rice ratio and let me tell youthey nailed it! We went to an event at Medicine Creek Winery, in Olympia, Jumpin Jambalaya was one of the food vendors. We ordered the Jambalaya... Fusion, the shrimp salad, and the pasta ...OhhhEmmmGeee it was all good! I've never had pasta that had just the right amount ofheat in it. And did I mention the shrimp? No? This is a new place for us to check out. It was our first visit to Jumpin Jambalaya. It is take out only but so worth it. The... food was amazing! I loved that it was not too spicy but you could add your own heat to your liking. However, it would be nice tohave a choice of what type of rice to add to the Jambalaya. We will definitely be back!
