We went here last night on their second day of their soft opening week. We\'re glad we found this place and as soon as we walked... in, we knew it would be a great experience. The friendly hostess handed us a beautiful menu and the restaurant smelled amazing. It set the tone for the rest of the meal. The menu is meat heavy but they accommodated our dietary needs; they even asked if wewould our food to be cooked in vegetable oil, instead of the oil they used for the meats. We love that they asked us thisquestion, it showed they cared for their customers.\n\nWe ordered the mapo tofu, green beans and dry pot deep fried tofu. Themapo was fragrant and the tofu tasted like it was homemade, soft and has a hint of sweetness that you get from fresh tofu. Itwas fragrant and the spice level wasn\'t unpleasant. The green beans were savory and addictive! It was the star of the meal, especially paired with hot white rice and I was pretty much in heaven.\n\nLast but not least, the deep fried tofu dry pot.We\'ve never had dry pot before but the owner came to our table and lit the pot on fire. The tofu came with chilies, jalapenos, bean sprouts, ginger, celery and cilantro. Spice level sneaks up on you, it started out not very spicy but builds up and by theend of the meal, I wish I had ordered the icy dessert I saw on the other tables.\n\nCustomer service was excellent! the ownerand staff were readily available, and she even asked us for any feedback so they can improve. Always a good sign when the owneris on deck with the rest of the team. Portions are large and it\'s affordable, we had plenty of leftovers to take home.Restaurant is great for bigger groups so you can try more food for sharing. We can\'t wait to come back and try all the otherplant-based options in the menu. Thanks for a great dinner! Read more
