We are on a quest for new eating places and my lovely bride found Yard House. It's a bit of a pain to get into because the... parking at Park Place is cramped. However, once inside we were quickly seated and our waiter Adrian was on top of our drinksfast. I ordered the Lobster Garlic Noodles, which had a huge serving of thick noodles with a generous serving of shrimp andlobster claw meat, mushrooms and spinach seasoned with garlic. This is very savory and filling. My bride had the CarnivorePizza, a 12 inch thin crust covered with a variety meats such as bacon, sausage and pepperoni. She said the sauce was excellentand she managed to eat only half of it. We treated ourselves to a dessert, I had the Pint Size Cheeseckes Brulee and she gotBread Pudding. Both were variations of the classic, the cheesecake brulee being a fusion of the crusty Carmel brulee toppingwith cheesecake body. It was very good. The bread pudding was moist and flavorful, having a side of ice cream with a generousdollop of caramel sauce. Yard House is a chain and they really focus on beer. If you are not into beer, the smell is a bitoverwhelming for a while. Another issue is that the lighting is really too low of illumination to many customers. I observedseveral either using their phone flashlights or moving to the rare window seats. Lastly, the open seating design does nothingfor reducing noise so it is somewhat hard to carry on a conversation if you are unfortunate enough to be seated near a loudgroup of diners. The wait staff are very attentive and friendly, Adrian being the epitome of this. Despite these small issues, Ibelieve i would go back to try some of the other menu items that caught my fancy. Large menu with lots of great choices. Quick and friendly staff. Chicken wings were excellent and good price considering our... economy and price hikes. Lots of seating available. Bang bang shrimp very good on top of a rice pancake, delishious. I wouldskip the nachos next time. They put this weird gross sauce on every single chip. It was like ketchup and a green sauce ,,totally gross. Chicken tortilla soup was great too. Read more
First off, Lindsey was very helpful, kind, and did her best to answer our numerous questions. We were there a week ago and we... both have medical problems limiting what we can eat, so we had several questions for her about the food, and she did a great jobhelping us with that. Thank you, Lindsey! As for our food, it was SO good. We got chicken lettuce wraps, and sweet potato fries,and it was all very good. The sauces that come with the lettuce wraps were really tasty; sweet chili sauce and a spicy peanutvinaigrette, and also came with tofu, green onions, wonton cup, and vegetables. Sometimes it's difficult to find a place withfood you can eat when you have medical issues restricting what food your body can tolerate, so we were glad we found someoptions here. Thank you! I always absolutely love the food here. Seriously, nothing ever to complain about when it comes to the food. It's always cooked... correctly and their truffle fries are always delicious. I took a friend here from out of town for the patio, (which was lovely)but we definitely felt pushed out by the waitress we had. She actually brought us the machine to pay from two times. Yep, twodifferent machines and two separate receipts. The second machine came immediately after we ordered our second drink (we werealso still waiting for someone else to get there). We saw her more frequently when she wanted us to pay than we saw her whentrying to order something. I double checked with her on the hours, because I started to feel bad that maybe we were keeping hertoo late. Turns out they didn't close for more than a couple hours. There was another waitress working the patio that seemed tobe pretty attentive to her customers, so maybe ours was just having a rough night.
