It's a waffle house. You get what you expect, every time. The service is efficient. The food is reliably good. The prices are... fair. I love their pecan waffles and bacon. The coffee is good. And, judging from it disappearing quickly, the chocolate chipwaffle is good too. Read more
In today's economy its nice to know there are places like the Waffle House were you can get an excellent meal for a great price.... This place is nostalgic with a retro feel.The staff here are all top notch too. Shout out to the cooks Terik and Tim and theoutstanding servers ALIYAH and Willow. Food is good, waitresses are amiable, but the cleanliness is to be questioned. One of the cooks listens to wired music on his... phone, touches his phone to change the music, then touches the food like the bacon to cook it. I know for a fact phones have allkinds of bacteria on them, definitely not hygienic. I did see him use gloves after a while, should?ve done that in the firstplace. Read more
I am from the south where Waffle House is very popular with many locations and this location is far from the best. I been to... this location 3 different times and each time was terrible. Servers have no hospitality. I came in after work this time and theserver was rushing me to fill out my receipt and interrupted me 4 times asking me to fill out the tip and sign while I was stilleating. My total visit was only 15ish mins. I told her I?m still eating and I will do it when I?m done eating and she said ?wellwe have a lot of people who don?t realize we get audit for this or they try to get out of paying? and I said I wouldn?t come inwith my work uniform and name tag if I was planning to do so. I work literally down the street as a manager that?s not a goodlook. She didn?t say anything and just walked away. She never asked if I wanted another drink , she didn?t ask if I wanted syrup or any sauces. Tucson has a lot of questionable people but I?m far from that and I feel insulted that she would even applythat. Definitely not coming back next time I go to a Waffle House is when I visit back home. The greeter Freddy was super friendly and helpful, a real pleasure to have met him. Our server Aaliyah was super awesome too. It... was cool to see how well the kitchen and front of house staff communicated so well together and the kitchen was on knocking thefood out super fast. It's Waffle House, what can I say? Almost always good. The food didn't come out exactly how we ordered it, but the waitress... realized that. She immediately said she was going to have it remade. We told her no need and just asked for the stuff on theside, no biggie. The staff was very pleasant. The food was good. Just wish the homeless were coming in and out talking as loudas they could. Coughing and hacking on everything, making a scene. Just inside to charge their cellphones and talk about all thepills they are taking. Bathroom was surprisingly clean and very big. Read more
