Delicious food and consistently excellent service! The outdoor patio has a great vibe that lends itself to being spot-on for a... date, brunch, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. I've been here several times. On this visit, I had pretzels for an appetizer, aburger, and the Whiskey Apple Pie, for dessert. I devoured the pretzels and didn't have the presence of mind to take apicture...yummy! The burger is always cooked to perfection. Make sure to order the apple pie and ice cream. The outdoor seating was great, great weather and live music. The food was nothing special, it could have been great but it came... out cold, my Flatbread was soggy and my salad came to the table without any dressing. Our server was nice buy seemed to beoverwhelmed. Read more
The dining area was nice. The chicken fingers were pretty good. I forgot the name of their house burger but it was good, no wow... flavor. Could have gotten something similar anywhere. The pickle jar was delicious. The Mac and cheese was just awful, 10dollars for a floury sauce, jello like noodle, and hard rubbery cheese crust Mac. It was just horrible Dont get it. I would havegiven more stars if it wasn't for that. There are better places. Read more
Wonderful food, great atmosphere, and the staff are most always friendly. So far everything I have ordered when visiting has... been excellent. If you are a beer drinker, try the "Black and Tan". This is a must have anytime I find a bar that serves it. Read more
We had a very nice pub-style dinner here. We went in a bit early to catch happy hour and had a glass of wine and the pretzels... and pub chips. Both (pictured) were really tasty. I had fish and chips and she had caesar salad with grilled chicken. Neitherof us finished our entre, good sized servings! 3 filets of fish, lots of fries. Tarter sauce was on point and the salad waswell presented and fresh. Throughout service was attentive and efficient, without pressuring us to leave, as we were spending abit of time just relaxing and chatting. My husband and I visited this restaurant last night 2/1/21 at about 11pm. This was our first time here, and very happy with the... experience. The waitress we had was so sweet and amazing and so was the food! Even the host was very friendly and welcoming.With covid It appears everyone has less patience than before. Let's love our waitresses and waiters. They are working during ahighly stressful time and thank goodness they are, so I can go out and have a great time! I love this restaurant and will visitit again. We ordered pontine fries, beef stroganoff, and a pastrami sandwich. Yummy!!!! Read more
I had lunch at Union Public House and came away happy yet again. I spent some time reviewing their menu online, which is... presented very attractively, and had to choose from a variety of good options. I chose the Shrimp Po Boy Sandwich with coleslaw. Wow, this was one of the best po boy Sammies I've ever had! The large shrimps were battered lightly and fried in such away as the flavor was light, not oily at all, and highlighted the shrimp. The shrimp was placed on a bed of slaw with aioli. Oh,I have to also give a shoutout to the poutine -- very cheesy, tasty gravy, and fries. Yum!
