My husband hyped this up as the best Mexican food ever. Unfortunately for me it didn't live up to the hype. We went with friends... and there were 5 kids. The server was great. They brought it chips and salsa with our food, not when we were seated. All thegood was good, but not amazing. Read more

Busier than we expected for a Saturday afternoon. We were not greeted immediately, about 4 minutes until a not very friendly... hostess approached and seated us. Our waitress approached and no greeting, just what do you want to drink. She dropped off ourwater/soda, I asked if they had a margarita/drink menu she said only what's on the table. I was ready to order but she said shewould be right back. She went to the bar rook out her phone and was looking at it, showed it to the bartender and they carriedon a lengthy conversation. I kept looking in that direction waiting for her to come take our order but apparently herconversation with the bartender was more important. 6+ minutes later she comes over and says "ready to order". We didn't knowyou have to pay for chips and salsa found this out because we had to flag down another server to ask for some to be brought (honestly I don't like the fact that they charge, they should be free, it's minimal cost no problem paying. Every other mexicanrestaurant I have ever worked in or dined at chips/salsa are free) Finally our margaritas were brought to the table, Tasty! Thefood came, I ordered the Chicken Mole Enchiladas & a chile relleno. He ordered the Chile Colorado. Sadly, he had to wait to eatbecause she had to go warm up the tBernice. Enchies were really food, the relleno was ok. My husband liked the Colorado, notthe best he has had but good. Waitress checked on us once within 5 minutes and never came back. We sat for over 15 minuteswaiting for her so we could get to go containers, I finally flagged down a waiter that had just come in. Where was our waitressat the bar sitting with her back to us. Waitress finally came to clear our plates as i was boxing up the food. My husband askedfor the check and that is how we got her name, Berenice. ABSOLUTELY the worst waitress, and it wasn't only our table she forgotabout. The guest next to us had to flag her down to get another beer and after 10 minutes of waiting Read more

Nice restaurant. Gets busy quickly. We were there around 9 and it wasn't too bad. Ordered the menudo (small bowl), chorizo... with eggs and beans. The chorizo was VERY good. The menudo was good as well. They also had traditional type breakfast ofpancakes, etc. They have someone making fresh tortillas which were extremely good. They came with the chorizo/egg plate, but youget 2 instead of one. They have Mexican drinks like Horchata, etc., as well as tea, water... We did buy a dozen tortillas thatwere just placed in a bag, but warm! Menu prices are a little pricey but well worth the food. Our server was extremely nice andattentive. Young girl, brown hair, light complexion. Sorry I didn't get her name, but very pleasant. Definitely a place to try.Behind McDonald's off of Grant and Silverbell. Read more

I gave this cute place 2 chances to be a new place to eat. Failure both visits: 7/9/22: Breakfast with my 2 youngest kids and my... grandkids. Party of 7 and no reservation. Snarky waitress/hostess tells me that she has no idea when we'll be seated. Walkedthrough to the restroom and notice that the place is 1/3 full. Eventually got seated and our non-snarky waitress wasGREAT. 7/16/22: Breakfast with my husband, party of 2, trying to give the place a second chance. Here's how that went: 1. 45minute wait for a stone cold breakfast. Spoke to the 'owner' where he told me that they're not a fast food place. 2. Mentionedto waitress who offered to heat it up. Nope! Have you ever had a re-heat on a stone cold breakfast? Yeah, I have too. 3. Theowner told me that it's my fault for my stone cold breakfast because I didn't want a re-heat. 4. My $7 mimosa on the menucharged out to $8 on my receipt. The owner told me that new menus are too expensive. I asked him why they don't get some whitetape and make their price correction like I've seen other restaurants do? No answer. 5. My husband ordered an omelet that turnsout to be an egg 'tortilla' wrapped around the ham, green peppers, onion and green chilies. Also stone cold. I apologize for myrant but it is deserved. This place has so much potential from the outside of the building. If only I had the waitress from 7/9!The meal took about 30 minutes, but at least it was HOT! Read more

I?ll admit my expectations were high! I?ve heard a lot of good things about this place, unfortunately was rather disappointing!... The people were nice, the atmosphere amazing, the food was good! Rather expensive and would be worth it, if not had skimmed onthe meat! (Hoping that?s not a hair) Luckily I had used a gift card! This was a large chicken quesadilla, I noticed somethinglacking in the first half and decided to take a gander. Cheese quesadilla with a pinch of chicken, mostly tortilla! Read more

Great Sunday morning breakfast spot with specials. The hot chocolate and bloody Mary were excellent. I had the Desayuno con... Salsa de Nopalito special. Very little cactus but very tasty. Loved the beans. My wife had the Machaca de Tres Chiles con Huevowhich she also enjoyed. Read more
