Went to Smoothie King today and everything was much better. The Smoothie was excellent, service was good and despite the amount... of people ordering, it was ready quickly. Hope it continues to improve! Read more

Understand that sometimes, how busy a day can be unpredictable, and the need to adapt is a must. But it is totally unacceptable... to have customers inside the building for over 30 minutes, and than decide to close lobby. Was told sorry, will be with usshortly when my wife and I first arrived. Kept being told sorry and apologizing. Was informed some more staff should be arrivingsoon. Finally, was told, sorry, the location was not taking orders in the lobby until at least noon. If we stayed, would havebeen waiting for over an hour just to place our order. Edited: Janelle reached out to me in the same day. She made thingsrights. Invited my wife to come back on the 29th, and provided us a discount. Apologized about what happened the day before. Wehad our drinks ordered and served in less than 5 minutes. Read more

Staff is super friendly and the drinks are always quick. Got to speak with the GM today and she's very nice as well. Not often... that you get a chance to speak with a higher up and they felt as approachable as anyone else there. Everyone there deserves araise! Read more

Worst customer service. I never received my order after 30+ mins of waiting. On 9/28/22 at around 11 am and after waiting in the... drive thru for 30 mins, I finally reaching the front. It was rudely suggested to us that we come inside to order because "it'stoo busy." Anyway, being sick, we politely refused and said we'd rather stay in the drive-thru. She insisted, saying it would befaster for us (she was asking us to join the end of indoor line, but we had waited in the drive-thru and got to the font).Again, we said we didn't feel comfortable with that being sick. At this point, the woman announced to BOTH indoor and drive-thrucustomers that they will not be serving any of us because "it's too busy" and rudely told us to leave. We (used to) frequentthis location and it's not uncommon for it to be busy on a weekend morning and having to wait, so this is response was utterlyshocking. This girl was doing her best to be as rude and nasty as possible, which is definitely not standard for SmoothieKing. When we asked for the number to corporate to escalate the situation, she said they don't answer to corporate because it'sa franchise. When then asked to speak to the manager and she gave us a piece of paper with a very fake 6-digit phone number. Shethen slammed the window in our faces and turned and said some very inappropriate things about us, which were still audiblethrough the window, unfortunately. Because we were given a fake number, we called the location it occured and we were hung upon by that same barista. I can no longer get through to that line so I assume she blocked me. We were able to successully callanother Smoothie King location (Park Place) and talked to a manager named Dominque about this horrible experience. She wasabsolutely lovely and so sympathetic, she was horrified to hear how customers were treated today at Ornage Grove and Thornydalelocation. Won't be going back, that was absolutely horrible. Idk how these people hate this store, I always get happy smiling faces everytime I get something. When I go inside I?m greeted... pleasantly and the drive thru is always really quick. I love all locations but this one takes the cake! It?s definitely made animprovement since the last couple times I came and there was no manager. But since it?s been under new management everyone thereis happy and nice to talk to. Read more

Former Smoothie King employee. If you are thinking about working here, DONT. The owner Jorge Ramos is absolutely terrible. We... had a former employee stalking and threatening us and Jorge did little to nothing and fired our manager and assistant managerwhen they didnt feel safe. Jorge Ramos would not fix our store cameras and saw his employees solely as how they could make himmoney, and not as actual people. After our drive thru window was shot at, most of our employees didnt feel safe. In this timeJorge was being very short causing most employees to quit. I was ultimately told I had to quit or transfer to a differentlocation after not being told a thing for days and Im a highschool student and cant afford to transfer so I was forced to quit.Best job ever until Jorge decided to be a little punk. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Love the other two locations in town. I love to take my kids for a special treat. Cost adds up when we go... too often so I order a large and ask them to put it in two cups to save a few pennies. Other locations are really friendly andhappy to do that. This location refuses. They'll put it in a large cup and give me an extra small cup. First time that happenedI ended up spilling smoothie in my lap. It was a total mess. I emailed corporate. They apologized and said they'd contact thestore. Went back again yesterday. They said they wouldn't do it. I said then I'd cancel my order so they said okay, they'd doit. Got to drive up window and same person from first time told me he talked to the manager and they won't do this again. Hesaid I'm, "Playing the system." Kind of ironic since I bet they would make one large smoothie in one container then split it intwo cups and charge me like they made two individual smoothies. So, I won't be going back to this location. I go to places withfriendly customer service. I go to places that are glad to see me come back frequently. It's really poor business policy tohaggle customers over a few pennies. They're losing out on a lot of sales. (Remember the adage, "Penny-wise, pound foolish.)I'll stick to the other locations and they can get the profits this locations doesn't seem to want. I don't know if it's acoincidence, but my daughter only drank about 1/4 of her smoothie. She said, "It tastes like water." She was right. It reallycould be a coincidence. Read more
