I ordered online for curbside and didn't see a spot, so I called the store but the lady who answered seem like she didn't know... and said I had to come in. The cashier was ok, I seen her touching her face with her gloves which is a no no because of crosscontamination. I recently took a food service class. So I know the does and don't of food service. My partner and I went to Rubio's for lunch. The food was amazing. This was our first time going since moving to Tucson. I had a... bowl and my partner had the tacos. Both were tasty and filling. Upon arrival we were greeted by the staff. We ordered and gotour food soon after. It was hot and tasted fresh. This establishment is a great place to take the family for a meal. I went to get my usual, Cali burrito without Fresca and a Mexican street corn bowl. I?ve always have asked if i could get a... little size of the Mexican street corn (50¢) on the side and Natalie refused to do it for me. So then i asked if a manager cando it for me cause what the heck I?ve always done this especially at this location. Tyler the manager or whatever was giving mea hard time just for some 50¢ street corn? He then said I?m gonna charge you for the pinto bean but give you the street cornand it?s 75¢. That?s ridiculous. Incredible every time! Come on down, especially for taco Tuesday! My favorite item to order is the shrimp trio tacos. It has... three different tacos, each a different style and bursting with flavor. It?s all an Americanized version of Mexican food fromBaja California so you honestly won?t find true Mexican food here but it?s really good anyways. I recently became familiar with Rubio?s through Door Dash. I was looking for a healthy meal since I?d recently changed my eating... habits. DD recommended them because they offer a vegetarian options. Plus they had a 4.9 rating so I went ahead and gave them atry. The Cilantro Lime Quinoa Bowl with grilled veggies is excellent! I?ve never been a fan of nuts in my food but Rubio?s haschanged my mind. I?d give them a 5 but portion size and pricing needs to be re-evaluated. I?ve ordered from here twice paid forextra grilled veggies and the bowl was still skimpy. Unfortunately after eating the bowl I was not full.
