First of all the service was great! Victor and Angel made us feel good! The steaks were a “B”. The Calamari was good with a... good presentation! The leafy vegetable side dish should be deleted from the menu! (Unacceptable presentation and did not pairwith anything)The asparagus was okay! The whipped potatoes were good! The bone presentation was useless, unless you let ussimmer in Augus and a dark gravy with onions to dip the meat in. The food was elevated to 4 stars because of the service! Ohyea, the bread was very good! Read more

And I am being gratuitous. It started when I asked if they could seat 1 for dinner. I was told no tables were available (there... were more than few two tops) until 9:30 ( it was 7ish) but I could have dinner at the bar adjacent to the restaurant-with a fullmenu. It seemed fair-although the restaurant would have been much more comfortable, and more quiet, than the bar. It was prettyempty in the restaurant. Service was slow-but polite. In house butter with lavender and bee pollen was addictive. I ordered thepork shoulder and when it finally arrived the plate was hotter than the pork and the pork was dry and...not a good cut. It wasquite flavorful and I just cut the pieces really small and rubbed them in the corn "stuff"-which was delicious. Until there wasa couple of hard piece of something mixed in the corn. Even cob pieces should have been softer! Great flavor but even the greenswere overdone. I figured I'd try desert. What I wanted said it took 25 minutes to prepare. I was not taking any chances andwent with the chocolate lava cake-which might have been better called the luke warm microwaved (?) unevenly heated lava cake.Sigh. And the entire time-at least 90 minutes-many of those tables inside the restaurant remained empty. SO...go toPrema-Adjacent to PY. Get bar food. Ask Roman for a Old Fashioned. It will likely be the best one you ever had. Read more

PY was our favorite restaurant for special occasions; but after our latest experience we were deeply disappointed. We made... reservations for 6:30pm as we were attending a show at 8pm at the AVA. We always order the dry aged steak... it's the mainreason we go here, it's usually incredible. During show nights it gets busy, and both of us having worked in the serviceindustry, we sympathize with the staff and try to remain reasonable. But the service on this night was beyond bad. We sat andwatched as everyone was tended to, served, ate and left...while we never even got a refill on water. The servers made sure notto make eye contact as they passed us. We ordered our appetizer, drinks, and dinner for the night to make it as easy on ourserver as possible. We were sat at 6:30pm and finally had to ask another server when our food would be ready at 7:45pm, so wewouldn't miss the show. The steak was not dry aged and it was cold, the couscous had sat under the heat lamps and was crusty anddry, and the asparagus was soggy. We've frequented this steakhouse because the service and food was always impeccable, and tryto show our appreciation to the busy workers. But it was so disheartening to watch large groups and groups after us be servedthe way we had remembered and always admired. And then to pay a high price for a meal that in no way reflected the quality ofthe food or service. Read more

We had Wagyu steak that blew our minds. Our servers were the mostprofessional, explanatory, and understanding people ever!! They were so knowledgeable and respectful. It was worth the money andI am so glad we went. Read more
