Reviews for Pastiche Modern Eatery in Tucson, AZ
My husband and I tried this restaurant for our anniversary when our original plans were cancelled. We chose Pastiche because... they have live jazz. Atmosphere: oddly placed tables (ours was facing the entrance), decor is outdated, lighting is TERRIBLE!Honestly, if they just changed out the bluish/white LED’s it would be a million times better. Food: meh. Service: Ourwaitress was very nice. Unfortunately she never came back to check on us after we got our food so I never had the opportunity toask for condiments. I ate my food dry. Jazz: Great! The only reason I gave this place 2 stars. Read more
Went here for lunch on a Sunday. The restaurant was super quiet and we had our choice of a table or booth. Service was prompt... and very kind. I got the chocolate strawberry french toast and my friend of the banana berry crepes. The food was fine, notsuper special or outstanding. The interior decor was also very nice, upscale and classy. Pros: -nice interior design -friendlystaff and prompt service Cons: -food is just ok -on the pricier side (think I got the least expensive menu item: $8.95 on thebreakfast menu which is served from 7am-2pm) Read more
Ordered the Burger and Fries $15 ,asked for well done, Burger came out improperly cooked and was Med-Rare in center and... unseasoned, the fries were undercooked Guest that was with me ordered the Prime rib sliders with salad $19, the slider came outundercooked, and unseasoned. The wait staff only checked on the table when flagged down. Once they were notified of the issuessat at table for over 15 minutes for the waiter to come back. After flagging a different waiter down for a 5th time was informedthat they would not remake/correct the food, and offered only 50% off the ticket. Read more
I ordered the special for the evening, a delicious plate of chili relleno. Food was great, but service was slow and the table... wasn't set for four people, so utensils, plates, water glasses came to the table slowly. Overall an excellent place for acelebratory dinner with our graduate. I was happy we could have a conversation without having to shout. Read more

Food was good, but kind of pricey for what's given. I opted for the bistro portion of the fried avocado tacos, which I... understood would be one decently sized taco, but it was primarily filled with the coleslaw mixed filling and just one smallsliver of fried avocado. You could barely locate it among the filling so that was disappointing. Truffle fries were pretty good. The mushroom bisque was fantastic and the chocolate chip cookie fresh baked with ice cream was very tasty as well! My friendsalso agreed their food was good, but not outstanding. My other said the cajun pasta felt lacking, but couldnt pinpoint why apartfrom the majority of the flavor came from the andoille. There was live music when we went which wasnt overbearing and pleasantto listen to as well. Read more
Food and service was great. There was a live jazz band. Prices are reasonable. Only negative was our table was in a weird spot... right by the door and it was somewhat slanted. It looks like they tried to get as many tables in that they could. Read more
