I would highly suggest making reservations ahead of time, the restaurant had plenty of open tables and they still made us wait... (we had a reservation). Food was flavorful and fresh, our server was friendly and helpful. Make sure to arrive a bit early tofind parking as you’ll most likely need to park in the parking deck, street parking is very hard to find depending on the timeyou arrive. Read more

Terrible Restaurant- At best poor management and service, at worst discriminatory. Pictures of the empty restaurant where... seating for 8 wasn't available. When we called not 5 minutes before and we're told there was space. Offered a table outsidewhile it's drizzling and expected to rain, when we were uninterested in sitting in the rain were told we could wait for the onetable that accommodated 8 people which was occupied and also combined... in an empty restaurant. Don't waste your time or money.You may need to take caution if you're black too. The food, atmosphere, and service was great! In town for a few hours and this hit the spot. We happened to visit during happy... hour, but unlike other restaurants, they didn’t hold back on the amount of fish in the rolls and the service was prompt. Agreat experience! Read more
The place is indeed spiffy and “cool” looking, but not really my thing if the food isn’t up to par. Mind you, we only had... the Ramen, and the sushi I saw being passed around seemed nice. As for our ramen the noodles where chewy the broth was almostbland, just the chilly oil that helped it out a bit, and the service was very slow. The plates are nicely presentedthough. This place was amazing!! I ordered the Kung-Fu Pandan cocktail and the Pork Bao which were PHENOMENAL. My bartender Bennett was... super attentive and made an effort to get to know me during my visit to Obon. The food, drinks, atmosphere and service were alltop notch. Would definitely return! Read more
