Best Mexican food I have EVER had! My husband hates Mexican and loved it. It?s home cooking Mexican not a restaurant version.
Nana?s Kitchen is probably my favorite place to dine or enjoy a drink with friends. The food is always great - no kidding - but... that?s just the beginning. The family that owns and operates the restaurant are just the warmest, friendliest people! If you?reinto fine bourbon, Marco (who is one of Nana?s sons) is an expert with lots of knowledge and a great way of introducing you tosomething you haven?t tried before. Almost everyone who works there is a part of the family, and their dedication to therestaurant and their affection for their regular customers makes this place a great experience no matter when you stop in. Youmight even make new friends sitting at the bar - it?s just a great, welcoming atmosphere. I can?t recommend this place enough. Read more
This place is amazing. The food was very tasty. I had the beef chimmy. The salsa was very delicious. Service was a little slow,... but the place was packed and our server was very attentive to us, making sure we had everything we needed. When you eat here youhave a great opportunity to support a local family ran business. Definitely recommend. Read more
This is a place that was a wonderful find for us! The chips, guacamole and salsa were great. In fact the salsa was excellent!... Our food was spot on and our drinks were also good. After dinner we talked to Marco at the bar and discovered his knowledge ofbourbon was excellent!! They also have a wonderful selection of bourbon available here. We have been a steady and committed customer at Nana's for a few years. We love the family business atmosphere, the staff,... ownership and, of course, the food. We rate our experience there as 5 stars along with our commitment for it to be our weeklyMexican restaurant. We believe Nana's to be the best Mexican restaurant in the Tucson area. We have visited Nana?s Kitchen for several years and it is a family favorite. We enjoy the food, which is very much like home... cooked. Over time, we have gotten to know some of the staff so it is always a friendly atmosphere and service is great. Sometimes we order several tamales to go and we find them to be best in Tucson. We have also sampled some great Tequilaselections. Nana?s Kitchen is truly an excellent family restaurant. Read more
We had an amazing meal at Nanas. I had the crispy ground beef tacos. They were perfect. Freshly fried corn tortillas and the... filling was perfect! My daughter had the quesadilla and she said it was the best ever. We also ate the chicken enchiladas andfajitas and the entire table was thrilled.
