If you like fresh and tasty food and very tasty agua frescas (which are also very fresh), this is your place. The service is... efficient and personal. The decoration/artwork is fun and I especially enjoy the LP covers on the entry wall. This is the best Mexican food I have ever eaten, hands down. I'd class these meals as a religious experience -- and I'm saying... that after living in Texas for 18 years in my youth. The food is what your Mexican grandmother might fix in the casita -- nochimichangas! - from fresh ingredients that never saw a freezer. Your mouth will sing. This is an incredible, slow foodexperience. It's prepared fresh to order in the kitchen by Martin and Scott, so be ready to savor the dinner conversation withyour partner or friends, linger over that horchata and chips with the best beans you'll ever eat (mayacobas, from Martin'sfamily farm), appreciate the art, relish the incredible flavor, and enjoy the humor and conversation with Martin and Scott. Theywill treat you like a person, ask how you're doing, and remember you. (Scott also shared great suggestions for hiking around thearea.) On the menu, my fella and I can personally recommend the tacos pinches (chicken mole, beans & cheese, veg), vegetablequesadilla, huevos rancheros and the choco-flan.
