Maria Bonitas was recommended by a local couple and we were not disappointed. The restaurant was clean, service was great, We... had a late lunch of the grilled chicken salad and a beer burrito. I remember going to Maria Bonita when I was young, so I was excited to see that it had opened again! The tortilla soup was... really good, though I was left unimpressed by the enchilada. Chips and salsa were above average. Service was fine enough, I wishthere was WiFi available; this makes it unfeasible to come here for lunch as I would need to work Edit: I have returned again,and had more great experiences. The food is certainly worth it?s money (even if the quesadillas feel too cheesy for mypreference). Their micheladas are very enjoyable and the service is very personal. If I could give zero stars I would.. traveling and needed something to take back to my room called and ordered take out - got a... chicken burrito and chicken tortilla soup. The chicken burrito was chicken wrapped in a tortilla that?s it. No lettuce no tomatoabsolutely nothing but chicken. Said it came with guac and sour cream side got none of that. The chicken tortilla soup wassalted broth with onion, tomato and avocado absolutely no chicken and inedible because it was so salty for almost $10 per dish?I got so ripped off.. Read more
First time here, was recommended by a friend. Oscar was our server and he was great- checked up on us regularly and made sure we... had everything we needed. The food was really good as well but I took a star away because I found two long brown hairs in myenchiladas. The first one I saw and pulled out, the second one I got in my mouth and it kind of ruined the rest of my meal. Idon't like wasting food and I can deal with a hair, but whoever makes the food should wear a hairnet or something to preventthat from happening again as I'm sure someone else would have been much less forgiving. Absolutely delicious!! We went for dinner on Friday night and we were surprised by their Mariachi!! Not only was the food... phenomenal, but the Mariachi created an incredible atmosphere. We didn?t want it to end! I highly recommend the white shrimpenchiladas and their cocido! Honestly anything you order is great! We also love their staff they are always so welcoming andkind!
