We order a lot from here whether it?s pick up or delivery. We?ve had maybe 1 or 2 issues with an order in the many orders we... have placed, and they are always more than accommodating- even offered once to personally drive us a new pizza. Always goodpizza and subs. Read more

Well the pizzas great! The customer service needs work. I was picking up a pizza the other day, was told by a young lady, on the... phone, that my order was ready and to call back when I arrived so she could bring it out to me?!? Wow what service I wasthinking, they prefer doing that due to the pandemic, very smart. After I told her I was already in parking lot, she hesitatedand said the order was not ready like she thought and said a few minutes, I described my car and I waited a few minutes. About5 minutes later she comes up to my window and explains to me that my pizza was going to take 30 minutes now ... 30minutes, noreally, she walked away, I was stunned, I could go to Safeway, buy Everything I needed for my simple small pizza, cook it, andbe done in 30min. I've loved Mama's for quite a while and have always had great customer service and never have I waited 30minutes before. Total time from order to pick up, 1 hour and 26 minutes. The dining room Was open, 4 booths full And 3 of those4 already had their pizzas, so Im not understanding this. Anyways, I'm over it, got my pizza from a really nice guy by the ovensand went home. I would hope Mama's would value their customers and just be honest, Customers are a lot more forgiving then youthink. Read more

I want to start off by saying that my family and I are what I consider to be regulars. My parents order our family dinner from... here almost weekly, spending between $45-55 on average. The pizza, salad, and appetizers usually are great. This Saturday, though, the family pizza we ordered from the Houghton location was doughy in the center and didn't seem fully cooked. Nobiggie, things happen. My wife and I took it back and asked that it be cooked a little longer. The employees wereunderstanding, the green shirted supervisor not so much. I want to be clear, they did cook the pizza longer, as requested, forwhich I am grateful. We would continue to give this establishment our business if it ended there. The supervisor argued withus, repeatedly saying that this is how they cook pizza (usually it's not) that the pizza was not doughy (it was) and that it wascooked perfectly (it definitely wasn't). He continued to state this seven minutes later, giving us the recooked pizza back. Hehas a right to his opinion, just as I--the customer--have a right to mine. To argue with me and tell me that my opinion iswrong and his is right is unbecoming of a supervisor that is supposed to be dealing in customer service. We didn't ask for arefund (nor was one offered). We didn't request a new pizza (which also was not offered). What we did receive was a very poorcustomer experience. I am truly sorry that we will have to find another place for our weekend dinner, hopefully one that in thefuture doesn't leave as sour a taste in our mouths. Read more

I love the premise of this pizza parlor because inside it reminds me of an old-school pizza joint. I had been here a few years... ago and remembered the pizza to be really good, so we stopped in. The first thing I noticed was they seemed a wee bit priceycompared to some other non-chain pizza places I frequent. We paid roughly 2.50 a piece for a drink that comes in a medium (theycalled it large) cup, with tons of ice and no refills so that set the tone right there. We ordered mozzarella sticks, a smallorder of hot wings and a large Mama's special. The hubs liked the wings and the mozzarella sticks were good. The pizza wasinteresting. So if you like thin crust... like REAL thin, you will love their pizza. I believe they call it Neapolitan style. (we should have gone with the Sicilian crust) The Mama's special has a ton of meat on it, including random large chunks/squaresof ham which I thought was odd. They do not scimp on the toppings for sure, but I could not taste the sauce at all to even knowif it was good. It was okay... that is all. I was not impressed, and probably won't be back given all the other great choicesfor pizza we have in Tucson. As a pizza addict, I actually ended up throwing away the pizza I took home and I never do that. Read more
