Little Mexico was one of the better places to eat in Tuscan if not the best. The food was great and the service was always there... when you needed it Read more
Really interesting interior that got me unsettled at first because the hostess was behind bars but then I turned the corner and... it felt like a western tavern. Our server, Brenda, has awesome hair. Her service was just as great. All around she waspatient with us and didn't make us feel hurried. No mention of food because it's so good it doesn't need mention! Great workchefs:) This is an authentic Tucson experience that out-of-state visitors should go out of their way to enjoy. Read more
Came in with my family to celebrate my husband?s birthday. It was two adults, two toddlers, and a baby. We had a decent service... there was a long wait for us to receive our meals but that?s OK. It?s to be expected since we came at dinner on a Friday night. If you?re a parent and you go to dinner with kiddos you most likely didn?t eat your food because you were attending to yourchildren. That was our situation it was pushing bedtime so we decided it was time for us to go we asked for two boxes and ourcheck. I tipped the server because she was a great server and recommended us our dinner plates. However once I paid I forgot myfood on the counter walked out and two minutes later when I come back to the cashier/ host and I?m told my food was trashed. Shestated that she went to look for me which I believe is to be a lie because I literally turned back around once I exited thebuilding. Cashed out at 7:10 PM came in back at 7:12 PM. I think what aggravated the situation was that she didn?t apologize forthe mistake. When I told her you need to give people a chance she was snarky and stated ?I do? with an attitude. I asked for amanager and Carlos was by far even more rude. If he?s the standard of their customer service no wonder his employees have none.If the host would?ve responded and been apologetic and stated ?I?m so sorry let me get my manager to see what he can do. ? Iwould?ve been fine and been like oh it?s OK since I believe we all make mistakes and went on with my evening. However it?s theattitude and the lack there of customer service is what made this a horrific experience. To the manager Carlos, remember you setthe standard of customer service in that environment and your customer service should be chef kiss because your food is not thatgood. I?m still baffled at how you spoke to me. I?m not looking for you to refund me my meal or cook me another meal. A simpleapology would have made the whole situation better. Read more

The food is excellent quality. Good sized portions for the price. Its subdivided between the dining area and the bar, and as... noisy as the bar can get, you can't hear it from the dining area. Ambience is both warm and inviting with an Old Western rusticappeal. Service is very friendly, professional, experienced and for the most part attentive. As a regular patron, there weretimes when it was a bit slow, but unless you're in a hurry, it isn't a problem. Coffee is delicious. The different comboplatters are my fav - I think I've sampled them all by now. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, and they're all verygood with a wide variety. Anytime we have guests from out of town, Little Mexico Steakhouse is one of three best places (allserving different ethnic cuisine) we take them to. I plan on having a satisfying patronage with Lil Mexico for years to come! Read more
