So far, this is almost similar to my favorite Japanese restaurant in Cali, here in tucson its hard to find a decent Japanese... restaurant that will click to my taste and my family.. I ordered chicken katsu over rice which is one of my favorite dish, theflavor is really great but lacks condiments and side dishes, the chopped cabbage doesn't even have anything on it just plaincabbage, maybe if there is a garlic dressing or whatever dressing you want it would definitely make a difference. My otherconcern is the serving.. for $11+ at least give me a bigger cut or portion of the meat, even the rice serving didn't make thecut or include the fountain drink in the meal. Maybe be a little less stingy on your serving. I have two picture included forcomparison, one is from JA Ramen and another is from one of my favorite Japanese restaurant and its not even $10. Comes withdrink, salad and a miso soup on side and it tastes better than Ja Ramen. Im not saying that Ja Ramen is bad, taste wise itspretty good too. Me and my brother were disappointed on the customer service too, looks like the guy on the order taking spotis spaced out, not sure if he's smoking something on his break or what. Would I recommend this place? yes, this is just me andmy opinion based on my experience. We as customers deserves better and I hope my opinion would be heard and make a difference. Read more

JA Ramen was super delicious. I definitely recommend the Vegas Rolls and the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen (pictured below). My fiancé... got the double pork curry plate and enjoyed his meal. I also tried their Thai tea and it was good! The restaurant was clean andthe employees were friendly. The only down side was the sriracha sauces and soy sauce by drinking fountain that are sharedbetween customers were dirty and had dried up product on the sides. Luckily I found one that was semi clean. Other than thatthough I recommend JA Ramen and would eat here again. Read more
Fist time here, very good food the staff is friendly. I had the fish curry and a taiyaki dessert. The curry was level 6 is... spiciness but wonderful. I never had the taiyaki before and it delicious. Read more
Wonderful ramen. One star down because of the cleaning (dirty tables when we arrived and cleaning was very slow). They might be... down in staff, though, so I can't really fault too hard. We would definitely come back. The food is really good! We went backagain for Christmas Eve ramen. Soooo good. With the rain and the weather, it made for a great experience. Read more
Overall the ramen that I had was excellent. I just got a basic one with broth noodles ground beef and a bunch of veggies. The... flavor was perfect. I'm giving this place five stars however, the owners do need to continue to work on finding more staff Ithink. A lot of the tables needed to be bust and you could tell that the staff was constantly rushing. Again amazing food but Icould easily see people reading this lower because of service if the owners aren't careful. That's not to say the people thatare here are doing poorly, quite the contrary they were polite friendly and happy to help. But you could tell they're stressingout. Read more
First ramen restaurant I’ve tried in Tucson since I am a Texas native and it was very good. I highly recommend the sushi. The... ramens had a bit too much salt for my liking but overall all the food was really appetizing. There is plenty of indoor andoutdoor seating. Very clean and staff was helpful. Japanese style curry and ramen. If anyone has been to Japan, it's somewhat like Cocos Ichibanya Curry, but of course different.... Portions are huge and pricey, but overall worth it. You can pick your spice level from 0-10. It's ran like a fast food typeplace where you order your food, pay, and then the food is brought to the table. Only complaint I had was the curry was lukewarmand not hot. Read more
