This is great Italian food served up by friendly staff. Have a good old vine Zinfandel or a great Growlers Cabernet Sauvignon,... or a big ice cold draft Peroni. Then for food, Start with the Caprese salad, and then dive into Scampi Rosso and PenneSausage. We chose to dine at Gusto for my birthday. We were greeted at the door and welcomed in. The manager knew our reservation at once... without having to look it up. We were seated immediately at a lovely booth. The food, the service and the atmosphere wereexcellent. Gus himself came out to greet us and he was delightful and charming. We weren't greeted and stood at the door confused if the place was open but decided to give it a try after being greeted a... couple minutes after standing. No bread offered, waiter didn't introduce himself, no Alfredo or white sauce pastas offered. Veryminimal menu vs what it reflects online.There was no music and was certainly over priced. ???? One of the reasons I like Gusto Osterie is because you will enjoy great Italian foods that are served there. However, I went for... caprese salad. The friendliness of their staff can not be religated to background. Read more
