Can't miss this brightly painted building off Broadway! Good parking and easy to get in and out. I was greeted quickly and sat... at a quaint table. My server, Margarita, was friendly and brought my drink quickly. The chips and salsa were delivered by anattendant who also made the salsa fresh to order. She asked if I wanted mild, medium or hot and put together a huge bowl that Iwas able to take the remainder to-go. I ordered the ceviche appetizer and the mini chimis with steak. The food was delicious andreally flavorful. Throughout the meal, Margarita kept checking on me making sure I was doing well. When I was ready to leave,she brought me containers to box up the leftovers and even gave me my soda to-go. It was a nice way to end a long day ofmeetings! Read more
What can I say? Best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time! Living here in AZ and having traveled all over the southwest,... Mexican food isn’t hard to find. However, good Mexican food with stellar service is. Everyone from the waiters/servers, thefood, and the ambience, were excellent. This place is super cool with its colorful aesthetic, the Sombrero lamps, and Mexican heritage art and decor. Came here twice... and the main thing that kept bringing us back honestly is that table side salsa they make in a mortar and pestle fashion. Thesmokey grilled jalapeno they grind in with the tomato, cilantro, onion, and other ingredients is delicious and unique. Probablyone of the best I've ever had. Their table side guacamole is also good but not a must try for me. They do have a big menu tochoose from. The margaritas are good too and served in a jumbo glass, so plan accordingly haha. First time we sat at the bararea which is a good elevated spot from where to look out over the entire restaurant but service is a little slow since the barand bar area tables are mainly serviced by 1 or 2 bartenders and on a busy night they were understandably stretched thin. Wewere still taken care of though. Second time we grabbed a table and service was much faster. Read more
This is our first visit to Tucson. We found this restaurant from the 9k google reviews. It turned out it was much better than... our expectation. The food was delicious, our server Luis was amazing. We will for sure come back if we are in Tucson next time. Read more
