We both had the Prime Rib. I had the petite cut and husband had regular cut. Asked for medium rare but seemed barely above rare.... Not very tender which was disappointing. I had a baked potato which was small but okay, husband had the brocolli which wasplentiful but just boiled. The salads were just okay with what tasted like bottled dressing. Two rolls were blah. The waitpersonwas very nice and efficient. I think the prime rib dinner at Texas Roadhouse is much better, especially with all the better sideaccompaniments. Read more

The best thing about this visit was the company of family & friends. Spinach artichoke dip comes with a little of chips & a very... small amount of dip! My mom & I both ordered the petite filet mignon & we're both so disappointed. Cold & tough! Ive neverhad a tough,, grisly filet anywhere, ever!! We had to wait for silverware while others at the table were served. My mom ordereda second glass of wine & was told they were all out. They brought her a different kind that was not as good! Two others orderedMoscato wines & were told no Moscato or sweeter wines were offered/served. Our server was very nice but completely unorganized &confused. We felt bad for him & hope he gets better over time. One bill was brought to the table but 3 checks were requested. Ahuge fiasco over getting the bills right which took roughly a half hour to almost get right. I hadn't been to El Corral in over20 years & it may be 20 more to go back if I do at all. Still a beautiful place in our stunning desert ???? Read more

We came to El Corral to celebrate our 41st anniversary, like many years before. The prime rib was excellent. Our service was... fast and attentive. Thanks for a great evening Just a suggestion but bring back the pumpernickle bread and toss the salad atthe table as you did for years Read more

Excellent service, (thank you Gabe). The food was delivered quickly and was good but I've had better. We both had the El Corral... cut prime rib. It was a perfect size. The salad, rolls, baked potato and tamale pie were very good. The prime rib didn't havea lot of flavor and there was quite a bit of fat but it was cooked right and was fairly tender. I prefer creamed horseradishbut it was ok. We might come back sometime. Read more

I had been here before and had a great experience with food and customer service. This was my 2nd time hoping for a repeat but... sadly it wasn't as memorable as the first. The bad: Our salads were a garden mix with a single tomato and single cucumber slicewhile another in our party did not even get a cucumber. (I know it's salad but still throw in a few toppers to make it feel likeit was worth what you pay for) The signature Tamale pie tasted on the over done part with a slight taste of burnt mixed in. Idon't recall it tasting like this my first time. The Tucson Chicken plate portion was smaller than expected. The Good: Ourwaiter Kevin was excellent! Attentive to refills and checking often on us to see if we needed anything else. (He even gave usfresh french fries due to the original order getting soggy while the other food finished getting ready) Loaded potatoes wereamazing and packed with enough toppers. The "Catalina Cut" Prime rib was huge! Bigger than I thought it would be. All in all Iwill plan to return but definitely not a preferred steakhouse for the cost of the meals. Read more
