I used to love Eegees growing up, but the past year all of the orders have been terrible or wrong. I got my mother a Ham and... cheese with extra mayo and onions and this was repeated back to the cashier several times and it was on the ticket/sticker buther order was still wrong. I have been a regular customer for over 25 years. Had a horrible experience yesterday with the drive thru line. Took over 25... minutes to get to the cashier window. People in front of me were driving off. I would have, if I could have driven off.Finallywhen I got to the cashier, I asked if they were short staffed and he said yes. I am normally a very patient person so I canunderstand the difficulties.. So I paid and offered to pull up so they could bring the food out when ready. Saw the person thatwas behind me in the drive through get her order. I parked my car to go inside what was happening. Manager came out and very,very curtly told me I shouldn't have pulled up to wait for my food as they no longer do that. She blamed the young man who tookmy order You lost a customer. Something wrong with my order all the time. Does not matter what location I go to. Burnt meatballs, sandwich cold when I asked... for it to be hot, overcooked French fries, forgot to put something in the bag and last but not least giving me the incorrectorder. I used to love Eegees back in the 80s and 90s, now I will stick with Subway. Read more
This Eegees has amazing customer service! The manager is young, but extremely professional and polite.. they allways serve our... food fast and correctly. they make sure to always have fresh fries, just all around great eegees and nice people. I recommendanyone to go here, foods amazing as well as drinks. original and clean restaurant. Read more
I know it's just a simple sandwhich shop, but it does take me back to ealier days and good time.
Jorge is the general manager at this location. I had a very bad experience at another location and left feedback. Even though it... wasn't his store he contacted me and offered to replace the meal. I came in for lunch today and it is probably the best eegee'smeal I've had and I've been in Tucson my whole life. Read more
Imagine a place where you can order a delicious tuna sub on some tasty fresh bread, with a perfectly tart strawberry and lemon... freeze ???????? not to mention, some of the best fries I?ve had in a long time ????, don?t forget the chipotle ranch! Cranberry Splash = NASTY! If you have not tried this flavor.....take a hard pass and consider yourself lucky. I do not know... what they used in this "special" flavor, nor do I really want to based on the taste and smell. At first sip it tasted like aplastic water bottle that had spent several years in the car during our AZ summers. It was disgusting and the smell was evenworse. It smelled of old cooked plastic and something rotting. I have never experienced anything like it. If it hadn't beenthat we went through the drive thru and were on our way home.....I would have taken it back and asked for something different. The lesson I learned is do not try new flavors via the drive thru,9 (the main eat in area had closed, thus only the drive thruwas open). I grew up loving Eegees and up until a few months ago was proud that we had a great business, that put out qualitymenu items. I know things change, and there is always a reason behind the change(s). However, Eegees has changed quite a bit inthe last few months; it started with the regular menu items tasting different. Then last month the company did a revamp of themenu (sandwiches, you can no longer order special flavors in party packs and they cut out a lot of smaller food items). I missbeing able to get a pretzel with a great tasting Eegee. I hope that in the future the quality I knew for 40+ years, returns. Ialso hope that a better taste tester(s) are found..... The flavor the month quality is slipping and whoever gets to decide andthen make the flavors needs to be replaced....October 2022 flavor of the month and then this special Cranberry Splash.....bothtasted like you had products that were expiring and you needed to use them.....so you dumped whatever together. The November2022 flavor of the month, is no longer as appetizing as it used to be.
