The restaurant it self did not smell great walking in. Was recommended the Mongolian beef, smelled like the restaurant. Tasted... very bland and if I didn’t know it was beef, I’d have no idea what I was chewing on. The beef was really weird and had agross texture. $15 went straight in trash and went to bed hungry. Save your money and disappointment, look elsewhere. Read more

This place gave us major food court vibes. You order at the counter and wait at the table for your food and they give it to you... in to go boxes with plastic spoons/forks and Styrofoam cups. The portion sizes were great for the lunch special price and thefood was only okay. They had industrial fans all over keeping the place cool and half of the restaurant is being used for to gocontainer storage. You have to walk past all of the cardboard boxes to get to the bathroom and the further back you go thehotter it gets because the ac doesn't work. It seems like they had really big plans for this place to be a sit down restaurantbut didn't have the foot traffic so most of their business is to go now. They should section off half the restaurant withdividers so customers don't see all the boxes and just create a hallway to the bathroom. Lean in to the to go side, maybe seeabout adding a drive thru, and make some good money hopefully. Read more

Food is good but no refills on soda, sriracha is 1.00, and the place looks like an ongoing dark construction project.

Diane and I have been eating here for years. We love the food. But we always get take out so eating in was a first for us.... WOW! We ordered our regular fare, Mongolian Beef, Sesame Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, and added treats like Shrimp Tempura and EggRolls. It's cold out, so we both got hot green tea. With our bellies warming with the very hot tea, the food came out in a rushand stove hot. The egg rolls were excellent, which is a change from our takeout fare because, by the time I get home, they aregreasy. Not so now! The shrimp was tasty and crisp. As soon as we dove into one plate, anther was coming out. Everything was sogood, hot and crispy. My favorite is the Mongolian Beef. I think it's the best in Tucson. The sauce is spicy but not so that itburns now or later. Diane noticed that the batter coating on the chicken was very crisp, a feature that we never experiencedwith take out. I think it's because the coating cools and becomes wet with condensation, softening it. The wait staff was veryattentive and ready to fulfill our every need. At the end of our dinner, one of the cooks even came out to inquire about oursatisfaction with the meal. This was a feast and certain to be offered as leftovers, which we will relish. This was an eyeopener in that our take out habit was compromising the quality of our favorite Oriental food. It was a treat to enjoy the fullnature of Chop Stixs' kitchen. If you do take out from here, make the effort to eat in once to see what you may be missing. NowI know, and it was worth it. Read more

Like the other reviews here, this place is very comparable to Panda Express. Now idk if that means Panda is stepping up or... Chopstix is subpar. Either way, the food quality is similar. The Singapore Noodles is enjoyable and a welcome side item. Had anoticeable curry flavor. Everything else was adequate. They have a whiteboard in the front with special items listed, but itisnt immediately apparent how to get these items since the ordering style is much like Panda Express where u go down a line, andthose items are not up there. Shame because they sounded great. I think the business is well placed, and a decent lunchspot. Unlike some of the other reviews, i did not have any issues with service. They were quite nice people.
