Very beautiful place. Everything is up to date & modern. Our waitress, didn’t get her name, but she was petite & extremely... kind. She was very quick with her customer service. The food was so good, so flavorful and perfect! I’m only giving 2 starsbecause, long story, my husband ordered the beef meat pie (which he specifically said beef & waitress agreed). The menu statedmeat pie only. It didn’t state what kind of meat so that’s why my husband said beef please. When the pie was brought back,my husband noticed there was pork not beef. My husband does not eat pork. We told the waitress & she went back & told thechef/other waitress. Our waitress came back & said sorry we cannot take the pie back & that we have to eat it. We told herrepeatedly that my husband does not eat or want pork of anything so we cannot and will not eat it. She said please take it orgive it to family members or else she will feel bad for the other waitress (I’m not sure why she would feel bad for her). Itold her that we cannot take it & that we will not pay for it because it’s not what we ordered. So she tells the otherwaitress & the other waitress comes over already upset. She asks what’s the problem, very rudely, & we explained the situationto her. She then told me that every customer knows what a meat pie is & what meat is in it. I told her that we are not everycustomer so we do not know. She said she could give us half the price discount but not the full. I told her that we aredefinitely not paying for something we didn’t touch, eat or want & to bring the manager. She said her manager was not herethis day. I told her then where do we go from here because either way, we are not guna pay for the pie. She slammed the menu onthe table, walked away & started yelling at our waitress in their language in front of all the other customers. In my top two best Chinese restaurants! This was my first time there, getting dinner for my 6 year old and her grandmother. I... loved every dish that we got. The restaurant was nice and not crowded at 5:30pm on a Wednesday. No wait time to get a table andour food was finished promptly. We ordered the chicken and vegetables, black pepper beef, and diced spicy chicken. I don'tusually like bok choy but the way they made it, I couldn't get enough. We will definitely return. Read more
First time diner on 12/1/2021. Place is new, uber clean, friendly service. Located in a somewhat sketchy part of town - it is... worth the stop and like finding a 'diamond in the rough'. In a city where street tacos and Mexican food reigns supreme - Itruly appreciate having wonderfully fresh and clean tasting Chinese food just a stone throw away. I will definitely be back andI would also pat myself on the back for squeezing 3 cheesy clichés into this review. General Tsao chicken and Mongolian Beef =5 stars each! The food and service at Chef Wang was excellent. I had crispy chicken egg rolls, and crab puffs as an appetizer. Both came out... hot, fresh, crispy and were delicious. For my entree I had Black Bean Fish. The texture and the flavor of the fish was onpoint. The fish tasted exactly like I remember from having it before elsewhere. I forgot to photograph the crispy chicken eggrolls and the crab puffs unfortunately. Attached is a photo of the Black Bean Fish. I look forward to trying more of ChefWang's dishes. I would highly recommend Chef Wang to anyone wanting high quality chinese food. Read more
Good food and a clean house! We ordered the Dad-dan noodles which were pretty good. The Dong-bei cold noodles were excellent!... Also the small steamed buns were good as well as the crab puffs. Recommend checking this restaurant out and enjoy some authenticChinese food. Read more
