I have to say that this was like revisiting Mimma's Cafe in Milwaukee, and in the day. There's something extraordinary about... walking into an establishment where you feel, feeeel the history, and the love. That's exactly what happened during what was myfirst time at Caruso's. I truly felt like I was part of the family, which I love. My beautiful dining girlfriends have beencoming to Caruso's for years, and they introduced me to everyone and made me feel quite at home. The service was justextraordinary, and heartfelt and loving. And the food was like a Nonna was in the kitchen doing it all herself, like going tosomeone's house for dinner. I am completely enamored and in love with this place. It is Italian comfort exemplified. I do haveto say one thing that was particularly extraordinary with receiving a slice of spumoni. Not a scoop, but a slice. That's puregenius. Thank you for a positively wonderful experience. I will definitely be back, as my girls are going to bring me hereagain, I'm sure. Good service, could be more attentive. Both red sauces are very flavorful, try both. Nice wine selection. Large portions.
Food was good, service was agonizingly slow. To top it off, we ordered a bowl of soup to go, the waitress delivered what is... shown in the photo. I even asked "This is the bowl, not the cup?". She assured me that this was the $9.50 bowl of soup. Ohand when I asked if we could get another bowl, she stated that there was no more, only some in a big chunk of frozen soup thatwas thawing, so from that I take it the soup is not fresh either. Not happy with our visit, don't know if we can talk ourselvesinto going again. Read more

Quaint 4th generation Italian restaurant! We prefer the patio for dining. This is a popular eatery so we had to wait about 40... min to get seated. Authentic Italian recipes makes the wait worthwhile. We began with house salad and garlic toast. Entre ofLasagna and a 2 go of homemade sausage and sauce. Caruso's is one of the best Italian places in town. They have fresh, flavorful food, with a lot of options. Their dinner... portions come in huge sizes, easily enough for two or three meals on each plate. Their chicken parmigiana is not breaded, makingit a great choice for low carb and gluten free meal seekers; its also rich and delicious. They have a small but fairly complexbeer and wine menu, with just enough options for most people. Their patio, when open, is lovely, and I can't recommend itenough. Like a lot of places, lunch is significantly cheaper then dinner, so if you're craving them and on a budget, that's theway to go. Hearing impairment: This restaurant is loud. They keep the music up, and not only is it often busy but the acousticsof the room can lead to a lot of echoing. It can be hard to sort through the background noise. Mobility: They do not have aramp. They removed it in favor of a small single chair lift that needs an employee's assistance to work. If you do not have aable bodied person with you, you will have to call them and wait for someone to come out. The lift can hold 750 pounds. There isa decent amount of room between most of the tables, and lots of benches inside and out if you need to wait to be seated. Read more
I ate here after a day spent hiking at Saguaro National Park. I appreciated that there was no wait on a busy Saturday night, as... we were very hungry. We ordered a bottle of red wine, lasagna and spinach cannellone for entrees, and tiramisu and cannolis fordessert. All were delicious!
