Food was delicious and served fast. I had a barbacoa burrito and it was big and had plenty of meat. Very tasty. There's a salsa... bar but you'll get handed one small bowl, so if you want to try more than one salsa your can't. Overall I'll definitelyrecommend it. Prices are slightly higher than the typical burrito shack, but the place is definitely better than those too. Read more

Calle Tepa is a hidden gem. Loved the food and the ambiance. Their Sonoran dogs are a must try. Hubby ordered chicken tacos.

Walked in of the street, looked good, full service at the bar so we took a seat at the bar instead of ordering in line and... finding a seat. Bartender was great. Attentive and friendly. Drinks were fast and good. House margaritas on the rocks withsalt. Yum. Food was fantastic! Manchego with barbacoa was delish!! Tamale in the combo meal, yum! Will be coming back! Read more

Spinach enchiladas are unique and tasty and the mini chimichangas melt in your mouth! The salsa and condiment bar is pretty... great, too. Menu is painted on the wall as you walk in, order and pay at the register, they'll give you your silverware anddrinks and you find your own seating. Full service dining is available at the bar in the back. Indoor and outdoor seating isavailable. Staff is friendly and very attentive, making sure you get your order in a timely manner and that it is to yourliking. The spinach enchiladas are a must-try as I have never seen anything like it anywhere else. Neither has my friend whobrought me here who has lived in Tucson for 30+ years. They are filled with spinach and cheese and covered with a cream saucethat looks rich but is actually light and well balanced. They go great with a meat enchilada. I would recommend the carnitas. Ihad a barbacoa enchilada as my third one on the plate which was good and moist, but I prefer the pork. My friend got the minichimis and the order came with six. She chose 3 carnitas and 3 barbacoa. It came with a little sour cream and guac for dipping.They brought these out super fast and were hot, crispy, moist and delicious paired with the cool condiments.
