It was a Sunday and many of the other local restaurants were busy. We were worried that this one would be to. And it was, but we... got a table right away. The waitress was wonderful, she was friendly and attentive. The food was out fast and amazing. Thelasagna (lunch portion) was super filling the garlic bread was weird, a bit tuff but good to sop up left over sauce. Thecheeseburger was perfectly cooked with a lot of fresh toppings. Should be no stars! What a pit!! Run down, neglected and food was mostly inedible. Carrots were old and dried out, not fit for... zoo animals! The nachos were burned, the veggies just dumped on the plate, and the black beans were just smeared on. Forgetabout the boneless chicken wings; they are nuggets, not wings! Other than our server's attentiveness, this experience was adisaster (and she deserves a better work environment!). Every time we visit this place (4 times) we have had fabulous service!! Servers and hosts are all friendly and attentive. We... always have water right away. While we have had the pizza and pasta I would say the burgers are what stole the show! The MVB wasdone as requested (medium) and has lots of flavor! The bacon was cooked just right. I added the avocado and it was definitelyworth the extra price. The salad was good, basic house salad. The blue cheese dressing was full of flavor. I went here during vacation with a group of 6. We chose the place due to the variety on the menu and hoping that everyone could... get something they liked. The customer service was good. I usually recall my servers name, but she was sweet and extremelythoughtful, checking in often, updating, and asking for additional needs. The best things for our whole group were theappetizers. The Thai shrimp bites were AMAZING! They were unique to be an appetizer and nicely flavored. The Boston?s Nachoswere shareable sized and the next best thing. The avocado wasn?t ripe, but that?s always difficult for restaurants andunderstandable. The burgers were ok, just lacking. There was nothing special or an extra *umph* that would make you order them.You just felt like you could have gotten it fast. Overall, I?d go back just for appetizers, but leave it at that. Fun and friendly with good atmosphere and a nice separation from quiet indoor dining into a more energetic bar side. The half... deluxe / half florentine pizza was properly loaded thanks to the chefs and our server Jake. Keep up the great work Boston's! Read more
