10/10 will DEFINITELY be going again when we are in town. Wonderful diner feel that you don?t find often where we are from. The... breakfast menu is printed on a news paper, which was awesome and definitely tied the whole diner feel together!! The food wasbeyond amazing. The service was outstanding, even though it was only one girl and she had at least 8 tables. She stopped bymultiple times, got our order 100% correct, and made sure we had everything we needed! I unfortunately don?t remember her name, but mam, you were amazing! We made a few substitutions, and I?m pretty picky, but she got my hash browns and all substitutionsright, which never happens!! The food was also out of this world! Hats off to the chef! The menu is HUGE, and full of greatlooking food and our breakfast was great! Large portions for a great price. Thank you so much for that delicious meal before wefly back to Texas! ?????????? Read more

From start to finish Black Bear nailed it! I rarely go out to eat these days because it's incredibly disappointing when I do. ... Some of the reasons can be ... miserable staff, dirty restaurant, tiny portions, consistency, poor quality food, Yada Yada Yada.... Well Black Bear was none of these! Our server Karen was pretty darn perfect. The Coffee was not diner coffee ( I lived backeast so I know a little bit about diner coffee;) it was tasty and HOT! The food was delicious and HOT too. Portions were reallygenerous, the menu is huge and has a ton of variety and i think the prices are very fair. I was able to chat with Misty theGeneral Manager and tell her what an amazing job she and her team are doing! Read more

Presentation/ Plating was not the best! Mildly warm pancakes.Only ate one because wasn't sure if the other was cooked through.... Don't sit and give coffee without silverware. Comfortable crowd and good taste! Read more

Bacon and pancakes were good, we had the pancakes remade because they were dry at first. But service was good. My boyfriend... says the peppermint mocha had a lot of chocolate syrup. The ambiance is good, the vibe is a lot of families and young kids. There were a few crying babies. I feel bad for the staff, they had to clean up after so many messy tables and it seemed some oftheir cliente were fairly disrespectful of the restaurant. Kids had thrown crayons on the floor, spilled food. Servers look likethey?re working hard. Read more

Nice diner type restaurant. Bear themed of course, nice atmosphere, good comfort food. It was busy for lunch, so service just... a little slow, but we'll worth the trip. Had chicken and waffles, very good and filling. Read more

There is literally something for everyone here! I?m not a huge breakfast person but there were plenty of options. The menu is... huge. Diner style food with a home cooked feel. Our waitress was very friendly and made sure we got everything we needed. Wasvisiting from Texas and wish they had locations in Texas other than in the Houston area. Read more
