I used to love Barrio Charro but something has happened recently where the food is terrible! Today it was literally inedible.... The black beans tasted like chemicals or soapy water had contaminated them, it was really bad. The ?breakfast potatoes? werejust a few tater tots that also tasted super weird, like pancakes or something sweet. Eggs were completely tasteless, obviouslyunseasoned and the toast was burnt. This is our 4th or 5th time giving them ?another chance ?. What happened to the old kitchencrew who cared about what they put out? My Husband and I used to eat here often. Read more

Just had lunch here with a couple of friends. Food was great but the service was even better. Everyone was very nice and... helpful. I wanted to buy a bag of corn tamales to take home but noticed it was out. Ray told me that the holiday tamales arepretty much the same, just with red and green chilies. Told me to take a bag on him so I can try it out. Definitely didn?texpect that. Definitely will come back! Read more

Loved the cute ambiance and layout. They sure pack a lot of character into a small location. The food was very good, as you?d... expect from a Charro location. We took advantage of the ?kids eat free? promotion (which ends soon!). The bakery items were okto good. Overall we?d definitely come back, but it would probably be just with the wife and I. The kids were not superimpressed. Read more

Woah, this place was good! The fried chicken sandwich was so delicious and the vegetarian sandwich (I forget what it was... called...) was SUPER fresh. The bread was so good! I liked the vegetarian sandwich better to be honest! This place is an awesomeaddition to the Charro restaurants! Read more

Stopped in on a recommendation from the Tucson Village Farm. Enjoyed a refreshing salad full of local melons and greens -perfect... after a sunny garden tour. Zesty tajin and pepitas added a punch of flavor. Arugula and kale were a little overwhelming for thebalance of flavor, but the innovation was a worthy effort. Be sure you try the fresh salsas- they are insanely good. Read more

This brunch spot has some of the best Vegan friendly breakfast dishes in town. They use "Just Egg" and it's cooked very well.... The vegan cheese they use is also great. All in all, they've made us regular customers. Read more

Ate here on a Saturday morning and loved it! Very charming and warm atmosphere with friendly service. You order at the counter... and they bring it out to you. Food tasted great - I can?t imagine there is anything not delicious on the menu. Highly recommend. Read more

Decided to give this place a shot and it was really a mixed bag. The coffee and the tres leches cake was 5/5. Everything else... sadly was very mediocre. The atmosphere and staff were fantastic though! Drop in for the coffee and a sweet and you won't bedisappointed, want a meal and it is definitely not worth the money. Read more
