I?m from South Louisiana and when I tell y?all this place is good? it?s GOOD! I had the Lobster Crostini which was phenomenal... followed by a seafood boil. Juan took great care of me and recommended a few different things to order and walked me through allthe pricing. I settled on shrimp and queen crab (didn?t even know there was such a thing) - it was absolute perfection,flavorful, and worth every bit! Had a great time. We always go to the one by I10 but this one opened up right by our house and we had to give it a try. We were... not disappointed. Was a really great experience, just like always. Boil for Two is definitely our jam. I see so many peoplealways commenting on restaurant prices etc, unfortunately that isn't a good practice with a restaurant, in my opinion, becausethey are very much affected with the economy atm. It is well priced for what you get, and the portion sizes are great. Alwaysleftovers with our Boil for 2. It was my 1st time eating here. I like the general theme - sort of like a backyard crab boil. One thing I didn?t like was the... ship?s Claxton alarm they sound to announce a birthday - very loud, was expecting a call for general quarters. All the seafooditems are boiled and placed in a bag. There?s no plates or flatware, just a large sheet of paper covering the table and lots ofnapkins. Even the coleslaw had no utensils. I opted for the fried oysters and breaded shrimp. The oysters themselves had a goodflavor but the breading was almost charred with what tasted like blackening seasoning. They do have charred and blackened itemson the menu but no mention of that on the oysters. The shrimp themselves were decent but the breading put me in mind of chickennuggets. Not a bad flavor at all, just odd. The fries that came with the shrimp were good. Best part was our server, Carlos. Hewas friendly and attentive. My ice tea was always refreshed and since I hadn?t been there before, he explained how everythingworks. I left him a 33% tip. Read more

It was my first experience at Angry Crab, and I was amazed by the outstanding service and food! Our server Bianca was very... friendly and was knowledgeable on the menu. She was attentive to our needs, and made sure our table had a great experience. Shehelped us pick out delicious food and tasty drinks from the bar. I got the ?Tongue and Groove? it was amazing! I?m so frkn happy that they finally opened a location by my house! I?m adding this place to my regular hangouts for sure. Food... is great & the staff is friendly. We have been to a lot of seafood boil place and this one by far was the worst. The one in west grant is way way better. First it... was very disorganized, very confusing, we had a main server to whom we placed our orders but then a different waiter/waitresscame to our table bringing us 1 thing at a time and everytime they come to our table of course we were get asked for our orderagain so we kept on saying that we have already ordered all over again. The rice served was HALF of a HALF cup! And because ittook awhile for our main entrees to arrive it became bland, cold and DRY! ???????. We waited for nearly an hour for our food andeven for a soft opening that is an unacceptable waiting time! it was only shrimp so we were wondering why it took that long! Igot 2lbs headon shrimp nothing else and my food came first. we had to wait for another 15 mins for my wife's order which isfunny because it was the same order as mine! It took that long that my wife had to initially eat from my share since we werevery hungry coming from the gym. Disappointing. Props to our main server though as she was clearly overcompensating for thedismal wait we have had to endure.
