We got the family combo meal. Both thighs were spicy, but we ordered mild. But the cashier brought my husband a fresh mild piece... - I didn't taste mine until much later at home. I live 5 minutes from this Popeyes and have tried to go four or five times and every time has been a MESS. They never have... anything, take forever, and make up their own hours. I try to be understanding, I know there?s supply chain and staffing issues,but tonight was the final straw. We waited 30 minutes and had to get a refund BECAUSE THE STAFF WERE YELLING AND PHYSICALLYFIGHTING IN THE BACK OF THE KITCHEN. When I went in from the drive thru to get the refund I was relived we didn?t get the foodbecause the restaurant was DISGUSTING and the girl up front touched the food with her bare hands. We pull up to the window to order, the lady taking or order was beyond rude. She starts by barking out "what do you want?" So, I... start attempting to give her my order, it wasn't a hard order, it was a number twelve with Cajun fries and a diet coke. The ladykept interrupting me to repeat my order. At one point I am just sitting in absolute silence for a few minutes waiting for her tocatch up. Finally, the order is placed and we pull up to the window, the rude lady walks up and thrusts the card reader towardsus. So, I inserted the card and, I tried to input my pin, and the rude lady says "no, you don't do that..." I couldn't wait toleave, I get working fast food is rough, my first job was fast food, but so many people are just rude for absolutely no reason.So, in conclusion, we live less than five minutes away and made it home. The shrimp was barely warm and the picture, funnyenough makes it look like a lot, but it wasn't. The fries, were decent but barely warm. I paid 11 dollars for this??? Popeyes has gotten better as of late. Went through the drive thru and got a five piece chicken ???? meal. Was very good,... especially the red beans and rice. They don't serve inside. Been going there over ten years. They were really good andconsistent in the beginning. Then in the past few years they were horrible. Orders were always wrong. Long waits and place wasdirty. Lots of turn over on there staff. Maybe bad management. Didn't go there for awhile. Started going recently again andmuch better. Food is good. Quick service and orders correct. Generally, I like Popeye's. Good chicken. I'm a fan of the sandwich and the red beans and rice. Today I got the new nuggets.... First off, the dining room was closed. I walked to all of the doors to find them locked, but no signs saying the dining room wasclosed. Then I got in the drive thru line. After about 30 minutes I got my food. It wasn't worth it. The nuggets were ok but thebreading was too flaky and absorbed a lot of the grease taste from the fryer. Just not worth the wait. Read more
