Reviews for Magnolia Room Cafeteria in Tucker, GA
This is my second time there. Very clean and the quiet atmosphere appeared to be that of an upscale restaurant without the... upscale prices. 8pm on a Friday night, there was no wait! The facility was well staffed with friendly attendants. The food waspresented well and also tasted good. Portions were adequate to large. When the TLAB has another Friday off, I would mind drivingback here for a nice affordable quiet dinner with my wife. Much better experience than the national chain places. Although it'sa cafeteria style layout, the overall quality smashes the other guys. Read more
Absolutely delicious...get your southern food love affair fulfilled. The service is all love. Believe it or not post covid this... is a place still full of employees who love what they do and the joy in their hearts is reflected in how they treat customers...its probably this love that makes the food so tasty. I recommend the smothered pork chop and Mexican cornbread. Read more

It's no joke how much better Magnolia Room is than the other cafeterias in Tucker. For the same price you get the same amount of... food that'll taste better than any other cafeterias in the area. Added to that, the dining room is clean, spacious, wellair-conditioned and in a romantic environment -flowers and decorations at the table. 5 Stars and I mean it! Read more
The food was good. It wasn?t super but it was good. It could have been a little hotter. I had the mushroom smothered fried... chicken, collards, sweet potato soufflé, mac & cheese, and a slice of sweet potato pie. It was $24.73. I don?t know how Ifeel about that but it was an experience. The chicken was good, it wasn?t really hot but it was cooked well. The gravy hadmore water in it than I?m used to. The collards were hot and tasted fresh. Not much seasoning but when they?re fresh, I don?tmind it as much. The sweet potato soufflé was what you would expect so it was good. The mac & cheese wasn?t completely meltedlike other reviews said but it was ok. At least it wasn?t dry like the other reviews said. The tea was sweet and the sweetpotato pie was good, not too sweet. I live on the other side of Atlanta so I wouldn?t make a trip over there for the food butif I was in the area, I probably would swing by to try some other things because it did look good. Oh, and the employees weresuper nice, especially Mr. Gary! Read more

I love the souffle like Mac n chz. You can tell it's an old school restaurant. People don't make it like that anymore. I am on a... cane and they were so helpful with getting my food to the table. Excellent service. The like servers were funny and talkative.Just an all around great experience as usual. Read more
