This was me and my husband first time eating there and the buffet could be a lot better than it was!! The cake and brownies were... dry, the Peaches pie wasn't sweet! We ordered a coke and the first coke tasted like a coke but the second one tasted like a dietcoke. When I told the waitress, she just said Oh wow but didn't offer another soda or change it! We will stick with GoldenCorral Read more

I was in the North lake area, and I have by passed Kacey's many times. I decided to give a try because I wanted fried... catfish, what a huge mistake! I grab a to go plate, go to buffet... everything looked bland and unseasoned, undercooked, overcooked, canned and frozen! I pushed forward... grabbed the homeliest looking Mac and cheese I've ever seen, a dry roll, soggy green tomatoes and catfish nuggets. I was so disappointed, and I wanted to walk out but I didn't. I paid $10 bucks forfood that gave me the RUNS! It was basic at best, I don't understand how this place is in business... the regular customersprobably don't know what amazing Southern food tastes like! This ain't it! Read more

This is a no frills all you can eat buffet. I come here primarily for the fried chicken livers which are hard to find in this... area and are on the menu five out of seven days a week. They are very good and take me back to my childhood on the farm. Mostof the other dishes I have had here are equally good and the vegetables are always good. Not every dish is a home run but if youtry something you don't like you can put it aside and get a better option. With the exception of the peach cobbler andpossibly the banana pudding the deserts are nothing to brag about. For unpretentious down home food this is a good place toeat. Read more

I'm a deep South native who just returned from several years on the West coast so I'm always on the lookout for country buffets.... This place deserves to do well, they are extremely nice. But they need to season their vegetables, they taste like they comestraight out of the can, and sometimes the chicken is cold. Both are easy fixes, put a little salt meat in your vegetables (itis a country buffet place after all) and reduce the selection and size of cookings to ensure what you do have tastes good and ishot. I will continue to be a patron of Kacey's and hope it improves. Read more

This is my first time in this town outside of Atlanta. I visited yesterday 7/19/22. I just wanted some soul food. Oh my... goodness, did I find exactly what I was looking for. The food was soooo good. I ate so much food. The place definitely needs arenovation. The booth seats are busted up, makes it difficult to find a good seat. But now back to the food. You know how youeat food sometimes and it makes you extremely heavy and tired? Well not this food. The food was so good, and I got to tasteeverything I wanted to taste and eat. I do not eat pork! Finally, a place that cooks good vegetables with NO PORK!!! I had bakedchicken, bbq chicken, fried chicken, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, then second helping with white gravy, two small servingsof macaroni with cheese (sooooo good) especially when it's hot, green beans, cabbage, greens, sweet potatoes, pinto beans, cornbread, roll, corn, salad, pasta salad, potato salad (not so good), watermelon, cake, banana pudding, and water. This is a buffetand I feel for the first time in a long time, I actually got my monies worth. I did not feel full until I actually got full. Idid not feel heavy or tired after eating their food. It tastes freshly prepared not processed. Well-seasoned. But I was stuffedafter I finished. This is definitely a place you should visit if you are on vacation or you actually live in, around, or outsideof this city. Every dime I paid was worth it. I will definitely visit again before I leave. I drove my mom to a conference outhere and my mom loved the food too. I am a visitor, first time to this area ever. I was a little upset the waitress refilled mywater while I was not at the table and when I got back, I sat in water. She spilled water in my seat, all over the table and didnot get it up. Does not allow for a good tip But again, THE FOOD WAS SOOOOO GOOD. There are so many places to eat near thisrestaurant, but I dare you to bypass them all and visit this place. Read more

This place seems to have lost it's luster, and I'm blaming management. I've eaten here, several times, in the past. The... waitresses are typically friendly and hustling. The food used to be delicious and fresh on their small / limited buffet line.I'd see a supervisor lady watching the whole restaurant to ensure quality of service. She'd walk around and ask if everythingwas ok at times. On my most recent visit, I didn't see any of that. The food was seriously lacking in seasoning and freshness,to a point that I only wanted to eat mashed potatoes and fried onion-peels. The sweet tea was watered-down. The restaurant washot inside, and the temperature outside is consistently reaching 80-90°F+ for the summer. AC should be running and workingefficiently. The visit was a waste of my time and money. What's worse is that the price to eat at this place has increased, butthe quality has fallen off. I don't think I'll return to this restaurant anytime soon. Management needs to get it together. Kacey is a nice restaurant that serves a buffet style dining experience. This restaurant would be good for the family or if you... want to catch up with friends. The staff was friendly.
