I dropped by this cafe today while I was waiting for my car at the body shop. I was getting ready to try another restaurant, and... I stopped to google the reviews here and took a chance. When I went in and I was greeted by several different people who wereall very nice and friendly. so that?s always a plus. Also, the restaurant is very clean on the inside which is always a big dealfor me. Plus the food was delicious, I got the lunch special brown stew chicken for $7.99 and their oxtails. My biggestcomplaint was the portion size for the oxtail for $22, I got two little pieces of whole oxtail and the rest of it was littlebits of meat. The reason that I ordered the oxtails in the first place was because I saw on the sign that they were $12.99 so Ifigured that must?ve been the lunch special portion because that is definitely what I got. when I went to the counter to getrang up? The total came up to $31 for the two plates. so I asked about the oxtails and the lady at the counter told me that theymust have written it down wrong on the sign. Hmmm !! Needless to say it was definitely worth a try but they are a little stingywith meat. I don?t live in the area ,so I?m not sure if I will ever go back but the food Was better than a lot of the Jamaicanrestaurants that I?ve tried in the downtown and Midtown area of Atlanta. Read more

Today we called about 8 Jamaica restaurant to see if they had jerk pork and none of them had any. We got lost going back to our... hotel and we saw this Gem. Good food! I ordered a vegan dish with chickpeas for my roommate and oxtails for myself both with rice n peas & cabbage. Very... delicious, fast service. However the second time I ordered here (oxtails again) was a bit more expensive, and the cabbage wasn?tready....but I was still charged full price for plate of food???? Read more
Absolutely the best island food you can get in this country. Curry goat to the brown stew Chicken. Beef patties are excellent.... Staff is super friendly, not rude like most. Place is worth the out of the way trip off the interstate. Read more
I am staying in a hotel near this cafe. I was looking for something quick to eat. My first time here, I went in right at closing... and was still greeted with a smile. Luckily they had my favorite dish, brown stew chicken, still available. The food wasdelicious. The service was great and the cafe is extremely clean.
