This place is hilarious. I went on a Monday to watch football, drink beer and have some food. There was no bartender. I sat... myself at a table. There was no service. I walked around looking for the bathroom and I finally saw someone who looked like theywork there and started asking where the bathroom was, she cut me off saying, "in the back", and walked away. I came out of thebathroom, still no bartender. The one person I think is a server, that "helped" me find the bathroom is missing. Another younglady that is dressed in all black with a t shirt on with the company logo, walks past me twice, never even making eye contact.Since I never saw her work, I can't say for sure if she works there. A man walked in and asked her a question, I couldn't hearthem, but after her response, he left with a confused look on his face. This lady then walked past me again, avoiding eyecontact. On purpose. I'm sitting at a table with no menu, no drink, nothing, and she walked right by me. Still nobartender. 8:30 on a Monday night, where only a handful of tvs had the game on, and they were all on mute so we could enjoy thegeneric pop music they were playing instead. I waited. 10 more minutes. No bartender, no server, no hostess, nothing. The signon the door claims they're open till midnight on Mondays, but that must just indicate when they lock the door, because they werequite obviously closed for business during the first quarter of a football game, at a "sports bar", and it's evidently a secretthey leave you to puzzle out on your own. Sat night and no wait at all. Ordered the jerk-spiced salmon sandwich with sweet potatoes fries. The salmon was fresh and cooked... well. I asked for caramelized onions for an additional up charge. The sandwich had coleslaw and citrus tartar spread on the bun.It?s a sloppy sandwich and the salmon needed more jerk I really could not taste it. The darkening of the salmon was not from thespices but cooking it on the grill. Would have liked to taste the heat from the jerk. The sweet potatoes were crispy but not hotout of the fryer more so room temperature. I would have enjoyed them better if they were actually hot. They are served with amarshmallow dipping sauce. It was super sweet so beware. I preferred the fries without the dipping sauce. My daughter order thepulled bbq sandwich with macaroni as her side. She only ate half of the sandwich it was pretty big. It had pickles and coleslawpulled on top. This was my first time visiting this chain. I would go again because the food was not bad just was not perfect.The sever took care of us and was friendly! I waited almost 45 mins for some meatless nachos. I called in my to go order I was told 25 minutes and ended up waiting another... 20 minutes when I got there. I was thoroughly perplexed because they weren?t busy at all the bar was not full neither was thedining room. I paid in cash and they only gave me my change in bills just ignored my coins.would not recommend. Read more
The jalapeno bites were a nice twist to cheese bites....very tasty appetizer Had the Jerk spiced salmon sandwich as an... entree..it wasn't very spicy and was a bit bland. The sweet potato fries were were over cooked....too long in the fryer. Read more
Prepare to go on an Americana culinary voyage when you visit the Hudson grille in Tucker. I have been a visitor of the Moreland... Avenue locations for several years however for the first time today decided to dine at the location in Tucker. I am so very gladI did!! We were greeted by an kind and warm hostess and showed our seats. The tables and dining area were exceptionally clean.We were quickly greeted by our waiter, Chris, who completely answered all the questions we had. Not only about menu items, butalso the VIP program. Our beverages were brought to the table moments later and our order was delivered mere minutes afterplacing. Today we decided to dine from the appetizer menu. We chose the pulled pork sliders topped with slaw and pickle. Themeat had a honey smoked flavor and was very tender. We also dined on the sweet potato fries with a delicious marshmallow andcinnamon dipping sauce. They were perfectly prepared and crispy. Lastly we had the fried pickles with a fresh garden ranchdipping sauce. The outside crust had a delicate crunch and the inside tartness of the pickle was refreshing. Trust me when I saythat this is definitely a restaurant that we will be returning to again in the future. And my hopes is that our extraordinarywaiter, Chris, is in attendance when we do. Read more
The 2 stars is for the food I did receive that taste good. However my salad was missing 2 ingredients. I went back in to grab... the bacon that they forgot only to later realize that they failed to put avocado on the salad as well. My biggest issue is theway management handled the situation. Coming from years of experience I can tell when there is a small or large issue in arestaurant however it should never reflect on the customers. Upon speaking to the manager and telling him they forgot an item onmy salad the only response was can I see it and what is your name. There was never an apology. Even when my salad was returnedand there was still never an apology. This is my first time eating at Hudson Grill and maybe I just chose the wrong locationbecause they also had a very low grade. also the red onion tasted like shallots and they were not fresh. We ordered appetizers and asked if she wanted to go ahead and receive the order for the main dish, we did not know how... experienced or level of service she could serve!!! Food came super fast, with appetizers, my drink came after all the food Withappetizers, we could not even enjoy, one of them would be cold ? Manager came and asked, we told him about , he blamed on thesystem. We blame on the quality of Service, again? if you want to enjoy a dinner, not the place to go ! Read more
