Catching up on reviews. I stopped by on Saturday, 05-21-22 while in the area. I ordered the cajun shrimp & grits, fried okra,... green beans, & corn bread. I had to wait a while for my order, but it was no problem because I had time to spare. As shown,there is a sign stating they are short staffed. My order was called & I went to the counter. Then the guy apologized, said mygreen beans weren't ready, & it should be ready soon. When I was called up the second time, my complete order was ready. Goodportion sizes. I couldn't eat everything, but it was packaged in a way that made it easy for me to travel with my leftovers. Theokra was good & seasoned. Everything was good. The green beans were just ok; they could've used a little more seasoning. Iheard some interesting conversations from the staff (male & female) while I waited for my order. I'm not sure they realized theycould be heard by customers close enough to the counter or that they were talking as loud as they were. Also, the lights coulduse some cleaning. Read more
Nice little restaurant! Food was so good we ordered a chicken Philly with tater tots and American burger with Cajun fries. Was... very good. I didn?t like the Cajun fries a lot for me but the tater tots were excellent! They have house dressings which arevery good. Staff was very nice, clean restroom. Low key spot never heard of them but dayaaamm they food is very ???? there menu is four pages front back on legal length. So... many Various flavors that could tickle any of your pallets. Heard about this place about a month ago and I?ve already been twice. First visit?customer service and atmosphere pulled me... right on in. I had the pork chops, fried green tomatoes and fried scallops?needless to say I dived in so fast to eating I forgetto get a pic. My coworker and myself decided to go back the next week and this pic is from that trip?ying Yang salmon withyellow rice and spinach with mushrooms. Another winner!!! Thank you to the crew for an absolutely awesome seafood platter. Stopped in for lunch today and I?m glad I did. The restaurant... was CLEAN and the staff were friendly and polite and the cooks should be proud of the food they put out. Portions are huge andcooked to order. Fresh seafood done right. Can?t wait to try out the rest of their huge menu. If you?re in a hurry call it infirst but if not just sit back and relax and get ready to eat? Read more
I like this place. They give you huge portions for a reasonable price. The representative at the counter taking the orders qS... polite and well spoken. I ordered the Cajun shrimp n grits, southern salad, fried cheese cake, and fish platter. All the foodtook about 30 min to come out. If we are in the neighborhood we will stop back by again to visit! Cashier and cook were pleasant and patient because they have a full menu which can be hard to choose from. I had the Cajun... shrimp and grits with fried cheesecake for my first visit and was satisfied! Highly Recommend! Read more
