Kaitlyn did a good job service wise. Got Grandmas Pankcake breakfast. Sausage was dry, not hot. Ham was too salty. Eggs were... not fresh, seemed like they had been sitting for a while.. I normally would give higher ratings but honestly the food has been sad each time I go and I don?t go often so that says a... lot. Chicken was good , pancakes didn?t taste like anything but butter and thinner each time ????????, biscuits were dry andfloury tasting , eggs were cold and hash brown casserole was mushy and missing seasoning ????????. Paid $23 and kind of sucksbecause I wish it was better. The waiter was amazing though he really was so sweet and very attentive( Aiden) he madeeverything better and gave us all we asked for . Great afternoon drive in the country to a familiar place for our craving for southern hospitality and food.

I?m not sure how this place has any good reviews. I don?t generally complain about food at restaurants, but I will complain... about this place. Yesterday I ate two day old leftover macaroni and cheese from the Safeway deli, and it was far better than theMac and cheese at Cracker Barrel today. The fried chicken tasted like reheated KFC, and the rest of the sides were frozen thingsfrom a bag, fried in old oil. The people who were working there were very nice and friendly though. Read more

The food is Southern, scratch baked, home style meals. The waitress described the dishes with pin point accuracy and went out of... her way to make sure we had everything we asked for and then some. The gift shop is my favorite place to browse and I end upspending more time than I planned because they have so many wonderful things. Prices are way better than expected compared toany other gift shop like this. They also stock all of the now, "old fashioned" candy favorites from my childhood. Oh no run like crazy away from this place!! The chicken tenders were god awful so dry and hard and cold they were inedible. My... husband?s shrimp same thing. We had the maple bacon grilled chicken and the catfish and both were pretty good. Always love the sides, their potato casserole... was really good as well as the fried apples.
