I love this place. The food is always good - Both the stuff you order there and their pre-packaged stuff you can heat up at... home. Heck, I even just asked them to make a weird, custom meatball grinder and not only were they friendly about it, they madeit EVEN BETTER than I could have imagined. You get what you pay for here - If you're looking for a dollar menu, go to Subway. If you don't mind paying a fair price for excellent food and friendly people, eat here. Read more

Will never go back to this one and only over priced deli in Trumbull! Everytime I go they get my order wrong. Order a garden... salad with chicken cutlet. Get home has walnuts egg avacado. Go back get a new one all it was was a thin layer of leafs onionstomatoes cucumbers and chicken definitely was not worth the price. The staff is miserable and stand there asking anything elseas your looking at the menu figuring out what you want. Read more

The deli is extremely hot with no AC. That can't be healthy for the employees with 95 degree weather and must be seating while... making the food. The bread is stale and the meat on the sandwiches is not placed properly. It's rolled sandwich meat in a bun. You have to layer meat flat and evenly. Also use fresh vegetables, not sparce lettuce and tomatoes lacking flavor. Also nopepperocinis, and this is an Italian deli? Read more

I wish there was a 0 star button. I will never come back to this place after how I was treated as a customer. I ordered a simple... bacon, egg and cheese on the phone. I get there about 20 minutes after I order. About 10 minutes after letting them know I washere to pick up my order, they asked me what did I get again? I inform them and I see her write down my order to be cooked. Inever said a word up to this point as people have bad days. Ended up waiting 45 min total for bacon, egg and cheese with rawbacon and barely cooked eggs. While I was paying for my bacon, egg and cheese and a can of seltzer I took out a 10 dollar billthinking there's no way a bacon egg and cheese could cost more than $10. Come to my surprise. Came out to more than $10. I'mstanding with my $10 out to hand to the lady because she didn't say the amount and she just stares at me. Didn't say a word. Asif I inconvenienced her with handing her the wrong amount. No apology for the long wait. It wasn't the long wait that botheredme it was the rudeness of the staff swearing up and down with customers in waiting and the way I was treated. I recommendItalian corner deli in Trumbull just up the road if you're looking for a good sandwich. Or even Best Edibles. Better food, better service. Read more

The price is worth it, their cookies are to die for and the Sarah with no honey mustard and balsamic instead on a hard roll is... my go to. Always happy to see a customer and always look forward to stepping into that great atmosphere Read more

1 star because this food was horribly overpriced and I received an attitude for asking about it. Also sanitary reasons. I was... charged $25 for these 2 chicken patties. $25. I can get lunch for 25 at Fritz in Oxford for my girlfriend and I. Not only theprice, but who seemed to be the owner (an older grey haired guy) gave me a horrible attitude for asking why it was thatexpensive. I merely asked "$25? All I got was the 2, chicken patties", and was met with "I don't know what to tell you, youcan't just walk into a restaurant and demand different prices". Which I get, but you cannot tell me this isn't expensive for 2chicken patties. On top of that, I've been there before and there food has been pretty decent, some good experiences some bad,but Everytime I've been there I watch how they work and I can say sanitary is not their first thought. They don't wear masks, which when in the food industry you are breathing heavily all over the food that's in front of you, and in this case there isvisible sweat dripping from the workers face, I've also hardly seen them wear gloves while working, at least a few of thepeople. And one time in particular I saw they dropped a head of lettuce on the ground, pick it back up, run it under the sink, and get to chopping it up for a salad. I'm all for supporting local businesses, but there needs to be a standard to be followed.Hopefully they fix this stuff for the betterment of their customer base, but I doubt it. Simple factors to help keep the foodclean and not giving the people paying for your product an attitude is not a difficult ask. I was a regular for a few months, but I'm not going back after this. I always look for local places when I have to get lunch on the road. Sapore was a good find. I asked the guy who took my order... what I should have and he suggested the ribeye sandwich. It was quite good and reasonably easy to eat while driving. Prices arefair. I'd go again. Read more
