Perfect NorCal mountain vibe and nowhere near the (rapidly becoming a) TouristTrapTruckee®. They?ve got tasty and great value... for cash sandos along with a modest yet well curated tap selection (including house brews). Honestly, I hesitate to rate(appropriately) high just because the last thing I?d want is for your typical mountain tourist-set to infest this place butrealistically I hope this place gets tons of custom and lasts for as long as I have the ability to escape Sactown thisdirection. Best Saison I?ve ever had. I want to give credit where it?s due: saison?s are risky beers that only companies withmoney to burn and smaller outfits with pure passion attempt. They?re risky because they involve wild yeast, anything can happen.A small brewer going with a saison is someone who wants to flex their skill in a risky way, knowing that most beer drinkers haveno effin clue what a Saison is much less the inclination to buy it. For that, these are artists after my own heart and I?llalways stop here and give them my money. Read more

Great selection of beers on tap and in the can! If you like pear ciders give the Hemley pear chai cider a try! It?s absolutely... delicious! Menu is small but very tasty! Try the pretzel with cheese. Don?t expect cheese sauce on the side. Expect cheesemelted on top!!! YUM!!! Even better add bacon! Read more

Friendly staff, limited house beer selection, small but strong guest beer draft selection, very strong can and bottle choices. ... Food selections look plain and are served on picnic plates, but taste very good. Maybe a bit pricey at $10 per sandwich. Iloved my sandwich with blue cheese, provolone, and fig preserves on whole grain bread. There is some limited outside seating infront of the restaurant with additional seating in the courtyard which we unfortunately did not get to see ourselves (thanks forthe update from the restaurant) Read more

You will probably never have the same beer twice. This brewery is on a rotating tab which is really great! The owner likes to... experiment and he?s more than willing to let you try his new brew before you buy it. The bar has plenty of room and there?splenty of seating for eating. This is kind of a locals brewery but all are welcome! There?s lots of great art on the wall andthe new food menu is really tasty! Lots of grilled sandwiches and Panini?s. They also stocked a number of other local beers thatyou can drink at the bar or you can take cans to go. Definitely worth a stop! Read more
