This place was hyped up by a friend we was staying with for the jalapeño poppers alone. They delivered. They were amazing and... the best jalapeño poppers I’ve ever had. We was served by Nathan, he gave us A+ service and looked after us extremelywell. If I’m ever back in Truckee, I’ll be back for the poppers. One word...Kaitlyn. If you eat here, you might be lucky enough to have her as your server. Knows the menu, fast and friendly... service, and a smile for miles. Had Pacific snapper fish and chips. Was great. My dining partners had the blackened salmon on afresh brioche roll and the blackened fish tacos. Everything was delicious and freshly made. Great music playing too. Not for locals and honestly if you’re into food and visiting just skip this stop. Came here for brunch, 14 dollar mimosas,... waited an hour and a half for all our food the 25 dollar chicken and waffles had soggy undercooked waffles with dry thin chickenunderneath an inch of breading, just because you put bacon in the waffles doesn’t make up for every other aspect being belowpar. The eggs Bennedict came with raw whites the first time, server apologized but it’s clear that food like this is a commonoccurrence. Mediocre performance for 80$ for two ppl no finesse at all food wise, no discount or anything for the inconvenience.You’re paying fine dining prices for mediocre food at best. I’ve been here three times total. Last time I was here I had adisgusting, unseasoned, overcooked pathetic excuse for sea bass for 50$. Just price gouging at its finest, places like these arethe reason I started reviewing. Hire a real chef or charge what the food is worth. Or maybe I’m the messed up one for orderinganything other than a burger from a bar, either way, if a dish is bad you shouldn’t be selling it especially not for a 3xmarkup. Loved the fish tacos prob best I have ever had. They were slammed so it took a minute to get food but had a great time.
Wish this place was in our town. It would be superbly popular. We came in to a packed restaurant. No space anywhere but managed... to grab two seats at the bar right before GSW started their game 4, 2022. We got suggestions from the bartender mat andthoroughly enjoyed them. Not only was Matt able to take very good care of us despite being very busy, he was very nice andpatient. We loved the house frozen drink and the Caesar salad! Read more

Wow! Happily surprised! This was the best bar food I’ve had in so long. The menu is fun and accommodates all tastebuds! The... drinks are also very well crafted. I suggest the rooster drink and some jalapeño shooters. The staff was very nice and eventhough there were lots of people we were seated and served quickly. Read more
Loved this quaint little restaurant and bar. Our meals were so awesome . I had the chicken sandwich which was very tasty. Even... the French fries were off the hook. My boyfriend had a bacon cheeseburger. We left with a full belly. Read more
