This was my first time visiting this restaurant and didn't know what to expect, however my expectations were exceeded. My... family attended for brunch birthday celebration. We were seated promptly and was fortunate enough to have our own private room. The food was hot and delicious! There was selections everyone could enjoy! I loved the French toast and omelet station! Thestaff was helpful and patient. The staff was slightly understaffed but I appreciated their hard work and efforts to meet thedemands. I will definitely be coming back!! Everyone enjoyed and the price was awesome I spent $30. Read more
Stopped here for dinner. A pleasant surprise. I had seen more than a couple less than positive reviews. We had a good... experience. The waiter made a couple of good suggestions for food. Try a flight of beer before ordering a large size beer. Theyhave a pretty decent selection of craft and home made beers, but the descriptions don’t always correlate with the taste. Notnecessarily bad, it’s just that what you get might not be what you’re expecting based on the description. The food was good.Pretty standard bar type food. The spinach and artichoke was a OK, steak and chicken burgers were both quite good, as were thefries. We will definitely go back. They have a number of rooms which can be separated from the main dining area. They also havean outdoor seating which we looked at, but opted to sit indoors instead. It appears to be something of a porch but there is arelatively large and busy street running right in front of the building. Read more
I have family in from North Carolina and they wanted somewhere "good" to eat. Our server was so sweet, Jessica really was... nice, gave us good food recommendations from the menu.Unfortunately, that was the extent of our positive experience. The mealselections were a swing and a miss. My spinach artichoke dip wasn't awful but it didn't wow me either. I've always enjoyed itbut this one was just "meh". No one in our 5 person party enjoyed their meal. It was All You Can Eat Cod Night and two of uschose this option. The first two pieces they brought out were not appetizing at all, eating them actually turned my stomach. It wasn't golden brown it was a dirty unappetizing brown. I shared half of the first piece, and only ate half of the secondpiece. I didn't even want any more. My mashed potatoes were dry and bland like they just put a baked potato in a bowl andmashed it. Normally, I take pictures of my food, but I wasn't interested in sharing any pictures of any portion of that mealwith anyone. The only reason I took a picture was to show the contrast between the first two pieces and the second two pieces. When I saw the second two I realized they could've done much better than they did. I'm so disappointed too, because this wasnot the experience I wanted is to have at all. I haven't been to Granite City since 2017 and I had a beautiful and deliciousmeal. This was extremely disappointing to say the least, which believe it or not, I actually did. Read more

This was an astronomical failure. When we were seated, it took 20 minutes for the waitress to come out and ask us for a drink... order. My wife ordered a seltzer, and I ordered a beer. Since the made there, the assumption was that it should be good. We alsoasked for water and the Asian shrimp as an appetizer. 30 minutes later, we received the seltzer and beer. Both were flat, and mywife's glass was dirty. After waiting 10 more minutes for our waitress, who we thought was getting our appetizer. We ask adifferent waitress for help. She took my wife's glass to get a new drink. Our entrée order and went to look for the appetizer.Within a few minutes, Jessica had everything for us, including the water. The Asian shrimp was plated well and had good flavor. We should have stopped at that point. When our entrées arrived, it was just my Bison burger and a side of Brussel sprouts mywife ordered. Not the salmon that was supposed to be with the Brussel sprouts, however. My Bison burger was a horribledisappointment. The Brussel sprouts were undercooked. When my wife's salmon finally arrived, it wasn't seasoned at all. I cannot recommend anyone ever dine here. We were here for 2 hours total. Now, to top it all off. I received a response to emailthem. I have done so twice with absolutely no response. This is so sad. Read more
