This was my second time here and I?m once again disappointed. I ordered an egg and cheese bagel sandwich (online) and asked that... they add tomato, green pepper, and red onion. The sandwich didn?t have any of the vegetables I requested. The bagel was hard andall together tasteless. In my opinion the best bagel sandwiches in the area are at Einstein Brothers, unfortunately they wereclosed at this time. Very nice staff though. Read more
Giving one star to get ownership/managements attention. Normally I would normally give Barry Bagels 5 out of 5 starts but not... recently. I live right by the Clawson location but like driving out to the Troy location because I being able to sit down andenjoy my coffee and bagel in the morning. You can?t do that at their Clawson location since there is no seating for theircustomers. There has been a few weekends now that this location has been closed and a sign in the windows telling customers togo to the clawson location. I will not go to the clawson location because there is no seating for customers. Barry?s Bagelsplease stop closing this location on the weekend. Read more
Reason I'm giving 3 Stars is because the second time visiting, the bagels were hard. First time visiting, everything was very... good, 5 stars. Would like consistency whenever I purchase food etc. Employees were polite, good customer service both times. Read more
So good. The bagels are fresh, flavorful and soft. It's nice to have another choice for bagels in Troy. Beats out the... competition. Try the tuna bagel sandwich. Tuna is made fresh, mixed with hard boiled egg. It's so good. (Note: the lettucelooked like it had seen better days, but when I asked about it, the server was quick to pull out a fresh supply. I've been wanting to try Barry Bagels since it first opened, I got to do so last weekend with a family member. We got two bagel... sandwiches and two hot teas. 1 Lox and the other turkey pastrami, they were very mediocre, nothing that would excite me to goout of my way. Bagels were smaller than your typical bagel, when comparing. One thing that i was not expecting was the cost, forthe 2 bagel sandwiches and 2 hot teas our total was $33.47! I eat out a lot, and I've have had my fare of bagel sandwiches, bothfancy, and on the go, but I've never spent that much before on a bagel sandwich. After paying the total I realized I could havewent to a brunch spot for the same cost. On the plus side the staff was outstanding and extremely kind, that's the main reasonfor giving a three star and not any lower. Fantastic place! The workers were quick and super nice. I feel like when I go anywhere in the morning for food its a " why are... you here"vibe. This place was was the opposite. The bagels were really good. The breakfast sandwhich was on point and it wasreconmended to put cream cheese on it which made it even better. Fantastic bagel shop. They'll make your sandwich exactly how you like and they use a real egg to make your sandwich. what more... could you ask for? Also great customer service, it's been the same 2 people everytime I've went there and they are always supernice and friendly. Who wouldn't want to support that? Also I'm a huge breakfast bagel sandwich guy, so this review should not betaken lightly. Atmosphere is real chill too so you could easily rock some work or just stay to eat. Read more
I went at 7:30 in the morning and they didn't have bagels and didn't smell any baking so I guess they just get their bagels from... somewhere and don't make them in shop. Two stars because I get a chuckle when I think of the employee asking/telling me, "Areyou here for bagels? 'Cuz we don't have any." Read more
