Vary, Vary good food. We eat in and take out. Pleasant counter folks, knowledgeable wait staff. We ordered seven different... meals, every thing was there, plus extra bread. Nobody had a complaint, only raves. Parking isn't great there. It's not cheap,but reasonable for good food. We think it's worth it. Read more
This is one of the top 3 Italian restaurants I have eaten at in my 52 years. A huge surprise to find this place in little ole... Troutman. The staff was great, the menu is huge. The four of us chose 4 different dishes so we could taste as much as possible.Takes me 45 minutes to drive there, most definitely worth twice that distance. Great food?eat here all the time, but had to take away stars because the $13 chocolate cake was a tiny slice and not worth that... cost in taste or justified price whatsoever. We were pretty upset. We were told by friends it was huge and delicious to justifyprice and highly disappointed because it was small and nothing special at all. Don?t know what happened there! Restaurant is very clean and the staff are all very pleasant. The food was delicious! We ordered the Penne Alla Vodka and a... personal pepperoni pizza. We got a canoli to go, too full to eat dessert there..I took one star away because of the canoli. Thiswas the first one I've had that wasn't sweet and it doesn't have chocolate pieces in the cream, they just cover the two ends ofthe dessert with semisweet chocolate chips. Looked so beautiful! Good pizza for the area but as a native New Yorker that just moved here, im still on the hunt for a spot that really hits me... right. Until then Pellegrinos makes nice pizza that will satisfy my cravings. One thing id work on if I were the owners, is iddo my best to teach the many young kids that work upfront to stop eating the toppings with their bare hands as well as beingattentive to the customers. We were waiting to be seated for 6 minutes while they were all playing around with each other. Noissue with having fun at work but take care of your guests first. Read more
We waited an hour to get a seat but I would have waited longer for this amazing food!! While waiting we watched them make... pizza?s, calzone?s and Detroit pizza. I changed my mind at least 5 times on what to order. Ended up with the penne primavera.Will be telling everyone about this place! Deserves more then five stars. Read more
First time eating here. Discovered this restaurant via Google maps as we were traveling down I-95. We were pleasantly surprised... with the quality of food after locating the restaurant in a strip mall. We each had a pretty garden salad followed by ourdelicious lunch entrees. We were a little disappointed with the single piece of baguette that accompanied our meals. The breadwas far too hard. Additionally, we were charged more for our meals than was advertised on the menu. That being said, we willhappily return and dine at this restaurant when we are in the area. Read more
Absolutely fantastic experience!! My wife and I went here last night for the first time in years. Last time we were here was in... the beginning of covid when they seemed to be struggling with many issues. So happy to say our experience last night wasabsolutely phenomenal! They raised the bar on everything we had and everyone on their staff was super friendly and veryaccommodating. Fresh in-house bread with oil and balsamic vinegar was served for starters. Mixed greens salad with housecroutons was about the best salad anywhere in the area. Calamari appetizer was excellent and super hot and crisp, straight outof the fryer. For our main course we had the detroit pie and that was about as good as it gets with plenty of leftovers to takehome. So happy this place has elevated itself to a whole new level!! Read more
