Absolutely loved the food here! We were visiting from Colorado and loved finding a place with some healthy choices and also... amazing dairy free ice cream! My salad was incredibly gorgeous and delicious. Everything was super yummy and the staff were allfriendly. Get here early as we went several times and they often close the line before 5. We also appreciated that all the staffwere wearing face masks and know that isn?t easy in a heat wave! (Our only critique/negative is that we were really surprisedand disappointed they didn?t have readily available compost and recycle bins. Almost all of the food packaging looked to becompostable but when we asked one of the staff where the compost was he said they just throw everything in the trash. There?s noexcuse for this in 2022. Order the grilled cheese. That's where it's at. I don't love grilled cheese but this was on another level. And the ice cream... sundaes are amazing too. Well worth the stop if you can make. I had the kalua pig plate. Kalua pig was good maybe can use more salt, rice was fancy and delicious, and Mac salad and pickled... veggies were good as well. Walked away not feeling too stuffed or hungry. No line when I went on a Wednesday during lunch andorder came out quick. My girlfriend and I went here for lunch. It was hard to choose what to get at first because everything on the menu looked so... great. We went with the lamb meatball sandwich, grilled cheese and tomato soup, with this pictured lavender andblueberry/honeycomb/blondies ice cream cup to share. Normally I don't tell people about the best places to eat because I selfishly want to keep them to myself but this place is no... secret. What a wonderful change for the area. This food is bursting with flavor no matter what you order. You may spend a littlemore than your average drive in but it's worth every penny. Lots of covered outdoor seating and a small selection of tables on the closed-in deck. Plenty of parking. Restrooms arelocated in the park, none at the restaurant. Read more
